  • How to help this breakup feel less terrible?

I broke up with the women i love of 5 years. No one cheated, no dirty stuff just "going our ways"...so please dont get into it. I also helped raise her daughter from age 3-6 which I loved as mine, and its like I lost my family. It feels so terrible, Im finding it very hard to care for anything... any advice on what I can do to help getting through this?... this sucks.

  • Police! Will prior marijuana offenses hold me back from becoming a police officer?

About 5 years ago, I got arrested for possession of paraphernalia of a mj pipe. (yes arrested, Utah) Then got a ticket in CA a year later. Its been 4 years since my dumb mistakes, but will this certainly hold me back from becoming a police officer?/ border patrol? How strongly do they take against this? I have no other issues on my record.

Please only answers from people in the law enforcement field.

  • CA labor law, do you have to drive minimum 50 miles to get reimbursed during work, when using your own vehicle

I have found it hard to believe as my boss tells us at a meeting that "**** Inc. policy, says you have to drive minimum 50 miles total round trip, to be re-reimbursed for mileage when using your own vehicle" My understanding is whenever you drive your own car, you get paid IRS rate no matter how little or how much miles you drive. So whats the truth? And any links going to a .ca or .gov would be appreciated to show in my defense.

  • Is my girlfriend cheating if i found a text message saying "your body is so hard and hot yum" from her

Looking through my newely ex girls phone i saw a message TO her saying "you look sexy today beautiful" she responds "your body is so hard and hot yum" she calls this innocent compliments. He knows when we broke up, and started messaging "hey sexy" daily to her. She also noted he could provide for her and her daughter, and has a great body. Now am i being stupid? I live with her and sleep with her. Is this grounds to call a cheater? Let me know, your answers WILL be shown to her
