3 AnswersPolitics8 years agoIs the 5 cents per taxpayer worth complaining about when it comes to Obamas vacation?
Even if he had 200 vacations in 8 years, and every one cost the taxpayer an average of 5.2 million, that would be only $10 per person in 8 years, that a $1.25 per person per year. Two cents a week. And thats just from tax paying individuals.
Not that its unusual, Presidents are never off the clock. There is no PTO. So my less than two cents a week I dont mind paying. After all, it is a stressful job. Can't you just eat one less mcdonalds meal a year and make a salad?
6 AnswersPolitics8 years agoWhat year did Obama become President?
8 AnswersPolitics8 years agoCould Youtube, Netflix and Hulu merge and become a powerful media company strong enough to battle the networks?
Youtube has the social videos and a social aspect.
Netflix has the movies.
Hulu has the TV shows.
Could it challenge TV as we know it and turn it into a streaming web based media center?

3 AnswersPolitics8 years agoWere Y!A politics even more immature in 2007?
Here's a little nostalgia for ya. Check out this section of questions from back in the day.
Have we grown up at all? Or was it more civil?
3 AnswersPolitics8 years agoIs the political implications of Benghazi over shadowing the importance of security abroad?
Foxnews loves this story, this "cover up" when really shouldn't we be more concerned about preventing another breach of security in other nations rather than bicker about what already happened and how "someones" responsible?
Whether or not Hilary or Obama or someone else messed up or drop the ball, isnt prevention the best cure and shouldnt we use this to prevent another attack?
4 AnswersPolitics8 years agoDo you think political talk show hosts get similar hidden kickbacks by corporations like politicians do?
I mean they are the speakers of the party, nobody wants to watch politicians actually speak, theyd rather watch or listen to the shows we produce. They drive politican opinion and people really listen. Whether its CNN or foxnews, do you think someone else is really pulling the strings?
2 AnswersPolitics8 years agoThe Founding Fathers embraced States Rights. What happened?
I feel like the federal government is our babysitter. Dems and reps both have trampled on this basic right as a republic. What can we do to eliminate the federal control of our basic human rights conequence or not?
8 AnswersPolitics8 years agoIf you support the war on drugs, do you in turn deny states rights?
Shouldn't states decide what we can ingest and cannot? Should we at least form an amendment to the constitution to ban illegal substances?
Seems unfair to society as a whole.
6 AnswersPolitics8 years agoAlcohol is legal, marijuana is a schedule 1 narcotic like heroin. How does this make sense?
Alcohol kills thousands a year by poisoning alone. Marijuana has 0 deaths by overdose.
Can someone explain the logic for me?
5 AnswersPolitics8 years agoIf Chicago has "Gun Control", and had 500 deaths last year, doesn't that mean its not working?
But at the same time there are still crack addicts while crack is illegal. Should we deem that a failure and legalize crack?
7 AnswersPolitics8 years agoWhat is your opinion on the XYZ affair?
Was it more about Benny Franklins whoore stable in Paris, or Johnny Adams taste in tea?
3 AnswersPolitics8 years agoDoes anyone really believe that oil is only good for providing energy?
Lets look a bit closer: Petroleum products are everywhere! Plastics, paints, textiles, and of course the energy to run the machines to make these products. And of course cars and planes run on petroleum. The more we take oil, the less we have. It is not a renewable resource. So wouldnt investing in alternate energy sources rather than drain the oil be a conservative act?
5 AnswersPolitics8 years agoDoes science plus politics equal political science?
Im gonna vote for the dinosaur party in 2016!
9 AnswersPolitics8 years agoCan the Legislative branch learn a lesson from the Executive branch?
Obviously the President did not catch the suspects himself, but what makes the Executive branch so successful is the ability to green light an all out man hunt and delegate federal investigations with no congressional blockade when absolutely necessary.
Yet when the economic and social policies are in the crapper all I see is both sides bickering about their own personal beliefs and ties and use numbers to manipulate the will of the people. There is no compromise, and both reps and dems are to blame.
Why cant the Legislative branch just take a bad situation and take steps to turn it around instead of taking month after month of simply debating every little detail as if little details couldn't be changed later?
When you engage terrorists, there is no turning back. But in congress, anything can be reverted when the peoples will are in mind.
Is there any possibility that the Legislative branch can put some coffee in their briskets and hurry the **** up?
6 AnswersPolitics8 years agoWhy cant I cook waffles on a plane?
