I need free insurance quotes that wont pull my credit report?
Im doing a project for school and I need to be able to enter in different attributes of an individual to determine how it would effect the insurance premium (I need dollar amounts). I need this for both home and auto insurance. Every site that I found requires your SSN and an accurate name so they can pull your credit report. Isnt there a site that does a general estimate of premiums?

7 AnswersMusic1 decade agoLooking back in time?
When we look at the cosmos we are looking back in time becuase light takes time to travel a distance. What if we were to place a mirror 1 light year away, looking into it and seeing our reflection we would be seeing ourselves as we were 2 years earlier. Theoretically, could you do this at different distances and see different stages of the earth? Is there some object that could exist that is reflecting the light from earth that could allow us to actually view it being formed?
10 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoDoes anyone know any good wedding songs by these or similar artists?
I was looking for something by Amos Lee, Damien Rice, Joshua Radin, David Grey, etc.

1 AnswerMercury1 decade agoWhat explains this rainbow phenomena?
This morning on the way to work the sun was low in the sky. On both sides of the sun, about 10 degrees to the left and right, there was a vertical rainbow. Halfway up the rainbow it was pretty bright almost like a seperate light source. It was extremely cold and there was no precipitation (I am in central Iowa, USA). Has this phenomena been observed before? What could cause it?
2 AnswersWeather1 decade agoWhat would happen in this situation?
Suppose there was a satellite orbiting earth and attached to this satellite is a thin, light string. This string reaches all the way down to just above the earth's surface. Could you swing on it? If you tried would you start pulling the satellite toward the earth? Would earth's gravity acting on the miles of string in the atmosphere pull the satellite in? What would happen?

7 AnswersOther - Business & Finance1 decade agoDo you think it is right to be able to sue over non-english documents?
Rep. Steve King of IA is suing soon Gov Chet Culver because along with English voter forms he put other languages as an option (Spanish, Vietnamese,...). King said it breaks Iowas law but how can you have a law that has English ONLY as a language for documents. I can understand maybe having English as the primary language but as the ONLY language?
1 AnswerLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWhat accounts for the difference in age of the universe and the light from distant objects?
The universe was created 13.7 billion years ago. We are able to observe things much further than 13.7 billion light years away. This suggests that the light has been traveling for more than 13.7 billion years. What accounts for this?
I understand that the universe is expanding at everypoint and there are things many times further away from us then 13.7 billion light years, but how are we able to observe them? What am I missing?
4 AnswersAstronomy & Space1 decade agoEvolution, relativity, and Christianity all make sense together?
Many Christians have a hard time with the theory of evolution and the fact that the Universe was formed 13.7 billion years ago. What if you were to incorporate the theory of relativity into this. Think about this. God created the heavens and the earth in 6 days according to the bible. Maybe those six days were only relative to God and not the rest of the universe because God, being the supreme being, is traveling near the speed light. So to him he created animals and humans in mere seconds, but on earth these events happened over billions of years.
Does this make sense?
