I recently moved to a new flat in UK... it's different from Uni accommodation where u don't have to worry about the bills!

now I got two letter from scottish British power for electricity and water too. It's not really clear how to pay them and when. It seems we are supposed to read the meter and provide them with the number so that they send the bills!

we r trying to pay by setting up an account on the internet... but cannot enter bank account details for direct debit!

does anyone understand how it really works and explain to me!

what are writings which are not 100% political (e.g, political speech) but deal with political and social issues called? Is there a such thing as socio-political writings? any examples?

I think I'm having a small depression or something , it's may be just stress, I had a lot of bad surprises and blows in my life recently and I really don't have much time to seek professional aid now! I have exams in less than 15 days and some of my "depression" symptoms are lack of concentration, memory loss and I just cannot focus on the task more than few hours!!!!

I have been disappointed and turned down every-time I tried to achieve my dream. I faced all challenges. I worked hard day and night on what I had to do. I met many requirements but it simply didn't work out. I always say to myself that I should not give up and try harder. But I'm really frustrated and exhausted now. I don't wanna say I'm simply "unlucky" or cursed or something!

I once read this quote about how you can have the "wrong dream" , thus we should change it!

How can this be possible? my dream is not like I want to travel to the moon. Should I just give up??

lately , I found myself in a very hard situation. I somehow know the answer to my question but I want to ask you cause someone may inspire me or give me a great opinion. (cause I still didn't do anything about it) : There are two guys in my life. The first one is my ex bf who want to marry me. I know him for 8 years now and although we broke up we r still friends. He is a very nice guy and treats me well but I don't have any feelings for him. I enjoy his company and all but... nothing...

The second guy is nice too! but he is so stubborn and realistic. I know him only for almost one year. I adore him although I know that my life may not be very easy with him.

Taking into consideration how difficult our epoch is and how marriage is being taken so lightly , what should I do??
