Love is a verb. I'm a quirky wildflower, part 50's house-wife, part 20's flapper, part fish (I get distract...Ooo! Shiny!). Passion and Love are two of my favorite words as well as the entities themselves. I want to be the type of person that causes other people to thrive just by being around them. I have a very dry sense of humor, I talk in quotes (movies, books, whatever). Thanks to my family, I still have a habit of breaking into song whenever someone says something that reminds me of one. I love antiques, vintage things, sunflowers, orange roses, chocolate, dark denim, sock monkeys and ladybugs. In my spare time I play with paint samples, learn languages, study baby name books (I'm obsessed with names), take pictures of anything and everything, make jewelry, write, read, and learn about my heritage and genealogy. I detest the colors blue and pink, velvet, sports cars, and people that misrepresent their beliefs.
What are your favorite nursery themes?
The ones my husband and I are trying to choose between are:
Sock monkeys
Where the Wild things are
Shrek
Dr. Seuss
Strega Nona (Tomie Depaola)
If you have any other ideas, post them here!

11 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoHow do you say "watchful lion" in Japanese? and can you please put it in Japanese characters as well.?
My boyfriend's first and middle names combined mean "watchful lion." He's in japan right now, and has already come up with a Japanese nickname for me, so I wanted to give him one.
Can someone please tell me how to say this phrase in Japanese, and also put it in Japanese characters as well? thanks!
