Patience

I'm not 100% that it's pink eye. Her eye is red and irritated and I noticed it when I got home from work. I'm going to call the vet ASAP, but they're closed now. My biggest concern is that she has 3 week old puppies. I know pink eye can be very contagious, but I also know that it's important for puppies to be with their mother. Is it more beneficial for me to separate them for the night, or keep them together and risk the puppies catching it?

This man has a dog, cat, chicken and bag of corn. He needs to get them all across a river, but only has one boat and can only put on thing in the boat at a time. He cannot leave the dog and cat alone or the dog will kill the cat. He can't leave the cat and chicken alone or the cat will kill the chicken, and he can't leave the chicken with the corn or it will eat it. How does he get them all across?
