Has anybody else recieved an email stating that you can only redeem your codes for tickets at a specific time, which is set for each venue?

Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with those expensive double-pane energy-efficient kind. Yesterday, I got a call from the contractor who installed them. He was complaining that the windows had been installed a whole year ago and I hadn't paid for them yet.

Hellloooo? Now just because I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am automatically stupid.

So I told him just exactly what his fast-talking sales guy had told ME last year... namely, "that in just ONE YEAR these windows would pay for themselves! Helllooooo"? (I told him).

"It's been a year"!

There was only silence at the other end of the line, so I finally just hung up....He hasn't called back, probably too embarrassed about forgetting the guarantee they made me.

Bet he won't underestimate a blonde anymore

This blonde guy filled his car with gas at a self-service gas station. After he had paid and driven away, he realized that he had left the gas cap on top of his car. He stopped and looked and, sure enough, it was lost.

Well, he thought for a second and realized that other people must have done the same thing, and that it was worth going back to look by the side of the road since even if he couldn't find his own gas cap, he might be able to find one that fit.

Sure enough, after only a short time of searching, he found a gas cap. He carefully wiped it off and slipped it into place with a satisfying click.

"Great," he told his wife as he climbed back into the car, "I may have lost my gas cap, but I found another one that fits and it's even a better cap than the one I had - It Locks..."

We are preapproved on our loan from another bank. The house we are looking at was almost in foreclosure when we put our offer in. There are several other houses in the area going into foreclosure and many more for sale, so why would the bank take so long?
