  • powertrax instal axle clearance problems?

    I have a 96 k1500 with a gm 8.5 10 bolt 30 spline axle. I have installed a new open diff carrier and a new powertrax no slip locker. I have excessive axle end play. The axles are about 1/8 of an inch from the cross pin shift causing the rear end to shift back and forth. Am I missing some type of shims to reduce the clearance between the axle shafts and the cross pin shaft. Powertrax is no help they said I don't need anything other than there parts.

    i have a 79 dodge power wagon 4X4 with a 318 and want to install a slant six the trany is a 727 will the slant six bolt up to the trany or will i have to change everything
