  • Boulders North or South course?

My wife & I are heading to the Boulders Resort w\ another couple for 3 days and while the wives are at the spa, the guys will try to get in 2 rounds of golf. I really want to head over to We-Ko-Pa for one round and since I'll have time for one round at the Boulders--is the North or South course better? Thanks

  • 2012 to 2014 Hall of Fame class??

The Hall of Fame classes from 2012 to 2014 have a chance to be completely loaded and just wondering if I missed anyone.

These players will likely retire between '07 and '09 (in no order):

    Clemens

    Bonds

    Randy Johnson

    Biggio

    Maddux

    Glavine

    Sosa

    Vizquel

And then maybe even these guys could retire:

    Piazza

    Smoltz

    Pudge

    Frank Thomas

    Schilling

I don't think Griffey or Hoffman will retire in a couple years but there's a way out chance I guess

Just curious what you think of this list--have I missed anyone??? Are these guys NOT HOF'ers?? If not, why??

  • Distance increase in high altitude (Canada)??

I'm looking for a good gauge as to what is the rule of thumb for increase in distance while playing at high altitude courses.

We're heading to the Canadian Rockies this week and I've heard 10% for each 5000 feet but I don't know if that's a myth or not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're curious we're playing Greywolf & Eagle Ranch on the BC side and Kananaskis, Gleneagles, Stewart Creek, Silvertip & Banff Springs on the AB side.

    Thanks!

  • La Quinta & PGA West golf courses?

My wife & I are looking into a golf trip at La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs and they have access to 5 courses (PGA West Stadium, Nicklaus & Norman and La Quinta Mountain & Dunes).

We likely will have a chance to play 3 rounds (maybe a 4th). Can anyone give me an idea of which ones are the best ones to play??? From what I've read it seems PGA West Stadium, La Quinta Mountain & PGA West Nicklaus but I'd like to hear from someone who's actually played them all.

    Thanks
