I really like books that have a group of people fighting against something (normally the "Bad Guys").

Just a little query that popped into my head. Interested to know what everyone thinks.

I turned sixteen in september and would like to get my L plates soon. But i was told by some friends that the age limit was raised and you had to be 16 and 6 months. I looked on vic roads, but couldn't find anything to support that fact. So my question is.. is it true or not?
