  • Gen Con Boardgame Convention Dealers?

Do dealers typically charge less for their games at conventions than at game shops? I figured that the lgs charge more due to being an extra middle man with a ton of overhead and that publishers selling directly to consumers would be a bit cheaper.

  • pouring latex for Halloween mask?

I made a mold off of a sculpt for a Halloween mask. My problem is that my mold is of a large head. How to I pour the latex so that my head will fit without having a bunch of loose space at the top of the mask? Can I put the mold of my head into the actual mask mold and pour foam around it?

  • Ferret sleeps in litter box?

How do I keep my ferret from sleeping in her litter box? I've tried leaving her stool in there but she sleeps in that. Should I try moving the box? What is a good way to stop this?

  • How should I line my Ferrets cage?

I seem to be getting all types of conflicting information on this subject. So far I've read 3 books on Ferret care and each say something a little bit different.

The cage I have has a metal detachable flooring with 2 plastic "floors" with plastic walkways up them. I'm a little worried about a ferret with plastic due to their tendency to chew but I figure I'll keep an eye on his cage and check for chew marks. and find a solution for that possible problem when it arises.

The main thing I was wondering is what should I line the metal bottom with? It seems like ferret paws need a little cushioning and a bare flooring seems a little harsh. Currently I have a set up of a newspaper flooring covered with a pulp paper bedding and a litter box with a recycled paper "dust free" litter.

Will this paper product confuse a ferret into thinking his whole cage is a bathroom? Or should I use another solution, such as carpet, linoleum, or old clothing? Also should the upper levels be covered with some sort of soft material?

I'll appreciate any help on this topic.
