My neighbors dog died from something I fed it, can I be sued?
My neighbor had a pitbull that would always jump over his fence and into my yard or crawl under the fence to get into my yard. The pitbull was friendly and never did anything mean but I could see evil in its eyes. I warned my neighbor to put the dog on a leash and to keep him out of my yard. He agreed but the other day the dog was in my yard, (again 3 days in a row) so I threw two boxes of Raisenets out to him. Well the dog ate him and now he is dead. I told the neighbor already (he was work at the time I only spoke to him on the phone) he was pissed. He started yelling at me and threatening to sue. Can he sue me if his dog jumped my yard? I didn't know raisins were bad for dogs. If he takes this to court can I just lie and say the dog tried to bite me, or has previously bit me? I don't want to be sued, help! (I live in PA if this helps.)
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoI got mugged on my way home from work how can I get revenge?
Last week I was walking home from work and some guy approached me. I assumed he was homeless so I was getting ready to give him some change when he pulled out a knife and told me to give up my money. I gave him my money and he ran. When he ran off he dropped his ID. I don't want to go through the police for this matter, I want to get street justice. He only took $15 but still what he did was wrong and violates what I believe in. How should I go about this matter? I followed him the other day and found out he works at a McDonald's, he also has a family. Should I go after them?
