I took a practice OAR, scored very well, very confident in that area. PT would be a OK/satisfactory- Im not in the best shape, but can improve that quickly. ||||||

I really want PAO,and have the education and 2 years exp in that area, nad I'm sure that kind of work is what I was meant to do. But is that enough? If not, what are the chances for comission into the other areas?

My best freind is about to be a father. I'm used to playing courses farther north that have actual blades of grass on the fairways. Down here, the fairways play like greens. Whats the deal? Why dont they use a grass that gives some forgiveness on the fairway? Is there a particular reason for this?

My company is trying to find reasons (excuses) to terminate/end employment for a chunk of their workforce, as they are looking to get lean. I was given an ultimatum-Meet a much higher set of expectations on a weekly basis, or face immediate termination... OR... Put in a resignation, we'll thank you for your service, and pay you for the next two weeks + your saved vacation time. No severance package.

The problem with this is unemployment compensation. I'm basically being fired/forced out, and they don't want to pay for it. It is my understanding that if I resign, I invalidate my unemployment claim, therefore I recieve NO money.

So that I have the best chance of approval with an unemployment claim if I choose to pursue it -(hopefully i wont have to and I'll find a job very soon)- How should I word the resignation letter? i.e. "Due to the nature of the job changing/duties changing/unrealistic and practically impossible expectations,...etc... "

How can I most effectively state my case for why I'm resigning? To be clear, I've been a great employee, have had GREAT reviews in the past, and always met expected numbers, but this economy is making a huge impact on our business. So again, they are looking for excuses to get rid of people, regardless of their value.

So ... any ideas?

I just watched Rodney Harrison get carted off the field, and it occurred to me... I NEVER see head coaches ocme on the field when a player is down. None... Gruden, Holmgren, Andy Reid. Even these coaches, ones who are known for being close with all their players, never step foot on the field during an injury. If thats my teammate, thats my brother- I wanna know whats going on right then. Why aren't the coaches there?

Do you think that McCain believes in the Obama/Bill Ayers Karl Rove Attack style tactics, because what I saw out of him last night was a man who seemed self-defeated. Because he allowed these kinds of tactics, instead of following his instincts/heart in his campaign.

On Letterman, McCain looked and sounded like he was upset with himself. And that he didn't believe the words that were coming out of his own mouth. I think last night was his worst.

I'm lost as to how, we can still have a "fundamentally strong" economy, when " Financial markets are collapsing." and "Credit is drying up." And that my "Savings are in Danger!" My "Retirement is at Risk!" And in a general statement "Jobs are disappearing."? (all his words today) But its still "Fundamentally Strong."

To save a few greenbacks, I'm considering ordering Tuxs for my wedding from tuxedosonline.com. I want to know who has had experience dealing with them, and if the Tux quality is decent. Is it plastic-like poly/rayon, or is it better than that?

I'm working on a 97 Gixxer 750, and am having an issue with the fuel pump. Its been sitting for over two years and wont fire, most likely becuase the pump isnt working. When the ACC is switched on, you dont even hear the "whirr" sound the pump should make. With a Multimeter I checked the connections from the lead wires - they are sending a signal. So I took the tank apart from the petcock and Fuelpump. The pump is GUNKED with a brown colored greasy soot/mud. I'm thinking that its locked up/clogged up with gunk. So I want to know, Can I dissasemble it and repair it, or do I have to fork over the 300-500 dollars for a new pump just to see if thats the problem?

Does anyone have experience repairing a fuel pump in a condition like this?

I want to buy some Fat Tire Ale. However its not Sold here in Florida. Whats the best way to purchase/ get it shipped to Florida? I've contacted teh company directly, and they said they could not help me. Any ideas?

Seeing how I've lost so much money in my company contribution 401k this last week, I want to rollover my current funds to a Traditional IRA with my Bank, so I don't lose my shirt. I'd keep making contributions to the 401k, but I'd be starting from Zero, with all my previous contributions and company matches in a trad.IRA. Is this allowed? I've heard of doing a rollover when you leave a company, but what about while you're currently employed there.

I've heard McCain say in multiple interviews, that Obama refuses to join him for Town Hall Meetings. I'm not asking this out of sarcasm, or to push an Agenda. I am a Dem, planning to vote for Obama. And I'm concerned about this. Has Obama explained why he hasn't done one yet? I am seeing McCain and Palin EVERYWHERE on TV, Radio etc. Where is our guy?
