I start student teaching on Tuesday. Both of my parents have come down with a nasty virus, and I live at home. Since both of them are sick, my fate is destined that I am going to catch this. The main symptoms are fever, congestion, and lots of coughing. As a student teacher, I cannot take off unless I am deathly ill. How can I survive and tackle this virus when I cannot get time off to rest?

I had a bad cold last week, and I didn't have much of an appetite while sick. I did not think anything of it, and I expected my appetite would return after I got over my cold. However, it has been a week and I still do not have much of an appetite. Should I be worried, or is this normal?

I woke up this morning with a cold, specifically stuffy/runny nose and a bit of a sore throat. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good cold remedies that could help me get over this cold quickly or even anything that could help with my symptoms.

I am looking for some good books to read over the summer. Here are some books I have read and liked in the past:

I'm not really into the romance type of books and I don't want to read any books that are scary. I like books with action and that keep moving.

I am also dealing with a very difficult situation at the moment. My cousin committed suicide, and I am grieving this loss. So any novels (not self help books) that could help me get through this time would be awesome, and just a note I am Christian so feel free to suggest any books with religious affiliation.

Yesterday, my family discovered we had a mouse when we discovered that wheat bread had been gnawed through and eaten and a bag of potatoes had been gnawed through, and some mouse turds. So, we haven't had a mouse in a while, but we decided to do what we always do if we discover a mouse. We had my Dad set traps with chunky Jif peanut butter, set 2 traps at different places, and waited until morning. I wasn't up yet when my parents checked the traps, but it was the first thing I asked when I got up. The mouse had set off both the traps, but there was no mouse to be found. Well, we obviously don't want to be living with this mouse any longer, but we don't know about how to catch this clever mouse. So, I turn to Yahoo! Answers and ask, how can we catch this clever mouse?

My friend gave me some vegan soap for my birthday, and I wasn't expecting it. I'd like to get her a little something, but I don't have much money and I don't want to bake her anything since she does not eat dairy/honey anything like that.
