  • Where does my USB 2.0 stick go??!?

I bought this exact USB 2.0 stick:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/iBoutique-IB32GUSB2-Hi-Spe...

    And I have 3x USB 2.0 drives.

The end of the USB stick is narrow and slightly curved - not the traditional rectangular shape one.

But I don't know how to insert the USB stick ?!

  • HELP! How can I recover files from a lost partition?!?

    Read before you post please:

I installed windows 8 onto my pc with a dual boot with windows 7.

The w8 partition has the label C (previous label of w7 partition) though after the install my w7 partition had the label E.

After I copied some files from w7 to w8, I used easeus partition manager to remove the E partition (of w7) and reallocated it to the w8 one.

I restarted the pc and everything went well. But when I realised I forgot to transfer some crucial files over, especially dvd isos, photos and videos.

I want to recover ONLY the My Documents folder of 1 user from w7 from the old partition.

HOWEVER, when I use easeus data recovery, I see only C drive as the option, and I'm running it right now but idk whether it will actually find any files from the Deleted E partition.

  • Is there a program that can help install software from my transfer from Windows 7 to 8.1?

    Hi,

I've recently bought Windows 8 (Pro) and I'll soon be installing a dual boot of W7 + W8 then transferring files, data and installing software, then removing the W7 partition.

I have a total hard drive capacity of 750GB, so as expected I'll be wanting to transfer a lot of data and especially software over.

I know that the software can't directly be installed, but since I have a lot of programs, is there any application that will automatically install software for me, for instance via a list.

    tl;dr :

I have programs like BitDefender, Chrome, ASC 7, Skype, Java, Shockwave, Winrar, VLC, Office 2013, and lots of games. Ideally, I don't want to install these individually, as it can be time consuming. Is there a way for making this easier, so I can simply add the setup.exes to a queue or something and when I come back from work, everything would be installed?

  • [Braces] Wire fell slightly off two brackets: what do I do?

The wire from my braces fell off two adjacent brackets. I think they're on top of the brackets. I don't feel any pain but when I bite it feels as if I'm biting onto the wire, which feels weird. The rest of the braces have no problems whatsoever though.

I have an orthodontist appointment coming up next Monday (14th Apr.) so should I wait until then or check with my orthodontist ASAP?

I'm not sure whether this is a serious thing, since I've only had braces for about 5 weeks and this is the first time I've experienced this.

  • Teacher told off for something I didn't do, what should I do?

My friends and I were walking home from school after the snowy weather hit us in England. We walk in a group of 5-6. Some of us were throwing snowballs (literally 4 feet away) at each other, and I managed to get hit by one. Our Deputy Head came down the road and told us to get back into the school premises and yelled at us all about the pride, public thoughts and all that jazz. She told us to come back at lunchtime the next day. either

One of my friends and I were really annoyed by this; we didn't throw any snowballs and we know that confidently, rather we got hit by them. The teacher was not convinced by this and still wanted to keep us in, since for getting hit by a snowball we're automatically involved in throwing them...

What should I do? All of my friends do this, and I'm a confident, hard-working student at my school - it's not something I would do.
