  • I'm looking for a way to block local users from accessing any of the system files?

I'm currently using windows 8 and I'm sharing a computer. However, one of the users manages to always manages to grant administrator to all the users using cmd somehow.

(There is one admin with 8 users with standard account)

I would like to increase the security in my computer. It seems that I cannot change the attributes of the files to deny in the system files. So how do I do it?

So i'm trying to find a way to

disable the usage of external devices like usb/CD, etc

remove access to system files, (cmd, cmdkey, etc)

    disable download from Internet

Is it possible? or are there any better ways? it would be really helpful to me.

  • Increase your hard drive's free space?.?

    So here is what happened.

I used CCleaner under some friends recommendation to clean up my hard drive using driver wiper.

I thought it would increase my hard drive free space, but actually it's doing the opposite.

I want to get my free space back or clean up my hard drive of junk. Any help?

    Thanks

  • How do we change the screen resolution for only one application?

One of my applications just can't run with my 1980x1080 resolution, which is my current one

However it seems to work perfectly fine with 1024x768 resolution.

I like my current resolution setting and I don't want to change anything about it.

Is there a way to make the program run at 1024x768 without changing my current resolution?

Also, I'm operating on windows 7.
