Installing a GTX1070/1080 I understand the cpu is very powerful but my aim is to game on it and install VMware for virtualisation tasks

Any ideas on this setup ?

Hi, i turned my hp prodesk on today to a constant 4 beep code. quick google and this is what it means

Fatal errors related to the operation of critical motherboard components - such as the CPU

Now i have tested everything, cpu, ram and it seems to come down to the motherboard, could i bake it to revive it ? or what has actually happened to it ?

Ideas on how to bring it back to life ?

Nothing appears on the screen, i havent changed the ram, new artic silver paste applied to cpu. Any ideas ?

Im thinking about selling my rig and buying a new pc. what do you think its worth ? ibe had it about 3/4 years

If i do a full back up on a sunday, when it comes to the following sunday what happens to the old backup, does that get replaced with the new one ? does the new backup over right the old one ?

I have recently brought a Necco Abruzi 50 CC moped. I seem to have an issue that it only goes 30mph( 45kmh?) no more, even if you go down a hill ? would this suggest a restriction in the cdi or else where ?

Hi, i was going into town the other day and got into town and my moped started to die when pulling the throttle. so it eventually die after pulling at the throttle, i pulled over and started the engine again and it started but the engine heavly back fired and crackerly, so my dad picked my up and stuck it in the boot, and took it home. but now it wont go over 20 mph ! what can i do ? its a generic cracker moped 2009 with 11000 km on the clock. i havent modded it in any way ?

new psu ( encase that's the issue) CPU/ gpu thermal paste replaced all cleaned of dust any ideas. if you leave it 5/ 10 minutes it seems to work for about 2/3 minutes untill the desktop loads then the screen blank no error code and fans ramp up, exactly the same issue with a graphic card

Hi, i went to turn my pc on today and it booted up to the loading windows then the screen went blank and all the fans ramped up really loud. i turned it off then back on and now nothing on the screen ? it sounds hard drive spinning up. ive cleaned the pc out reapplied thermal paste to cpu and gpu, tried another graphic card and still no joy ?

Hi for some reason it boots up the first time perfectly fine- then when going to the internet i received a purple screen( no error code) i rebooted it with a external graphic card this time and it got to the loading windows and froze, so i rebooted it a third time and now i dont get anything on the screen ?

its an hp 6000 pro, i brought a new power supply encase that was the issue but nothing has changed ?

Any ideas ?, ive replaced both thermal paste on board graphics and cpu no difference

Update- i reapplied thermal paste to the cpu and it seemed to work for about 5 minutes, i managed to boot into windows :) then it just turned off. i tried to boot up again but with a graphic card this time and it froze on loading windows, so when i went to boot again it just freezes on the hp bios screen ? any ideas ? and sometimes i dont get any output from the graphic card/ both external and internal

Pc as a server ? Any recommendations it s got to be at least core i5 if not core I7 8 gig ram ideally and hold up to a minimum of two hard drives and got to be small for factor case as I haven t got much space

Hi, So i received this pc from work as its defective but i cant seem to find anything on the internet about it ?

Its a hp pro 6000 desktop

8 gig ram

The issue is

That it boots up fine and works as it should but on several occasions the screen will go to a colour .e.g. white, red and the fans ramp up really high- i cant control alt delte and get it back. the only way i can get it back is to turn it off and on

For some reason im unable to get anything from my graphic card but when i plug it in another computer it works perfectly fine, no issues at all. There are no on board graphics to test, any ideas ?
