My fiance and I have found a house that we want to buy so that we have a place to go home to after the wedding. My fiance is going active in the military in a year or so. Anyway we found a house and have bid on it already. Since we are getting it with a FHA loan can we rent it when he goes active? Can we leave it vacant? or do we have to live in it until they forgive us and we don't have to pay for it?

I'm trying to decide what places is better to live in cause i'm going to college in the summer and two of the colleges i'm applying for are in that city. So which one would you prefer.? Which place is good to raise a family in?And are there any Navy bases out in SC? please and thank you.
