  • What can conservatives say about T. Boone Pickens?

The man is a reptilian Republican, responsible for floating the Swift Boat liars, more hostile takeovers than you could count, and one of the primary components of our need for oil in the first place.

However, even this oil baron realizes that you cannot get us out of our current problem by drilling for more oil. Even he realizes that you must go to alternative energies and rapidly. Of course, he's a natural gas baron now, and he's promoting that heavily, but so what? It's a step in the right direction.

What's the problem, Republicans? Even the OIL COMPANIES are telling you that drilling for more oil is the wrong approach. What do you have to say about that? I can't wait. Should be funny.

  • Is it now time to reactivate our rail network for freight?

With the cost of fuel soaring and the current government seemingly incapable of solving our fuel crisis with anything that makes sense, does the rail system now seem to make more sense? I think it does, but I'd like to see some discussion about it.

Oil drilling in the US is not going to get us anywhere in the near term, and unless the government starts giving more incentive to alternative sources to innovate, we have to do more now.
