  • Gaming PC For YouTube?

Hi, thank you for taking the time to read this. I am currently about to build my own PC, for YouTube, editing, school, gaming, streaming, etc. I was looking to go for the newer Skylake line of CPUs.

    Here's my dilemma:

Should I go for the i7 since I know they are better than i5, and since I will want to edit lightly to mediumly and stream. This would mean a GTX 980 gpu.

OR Get an i5 6600k and GTX 980ti since I know the 980ti is some small percentage short of the Titan x.

Is it worth it to lose the gain in editing for the GTX 980ti?

    Thanks,

    Christian

  • How to get mom to let you build your own pc?

So I asked my mom to let me have a computer for my bday and CHRISTMAS present.she said okay and 6 months later she says well you can't have a computer but I'll give you an iPad. And now she wants to match however much money I have in the bank this time next year and ill buy a pc. So I was like alright, I love building pcs on pcpartpicker.com and I asked my mom if I could, I gave reasoning like its a hell of a lot cheaper and it would be nice knowing, wow I built this. She said no and I want to know if there is a way to convince her to let me. I also know a lot about technology and I am a straight A student. Also tell me if this is good http://pcpartpicker.com/p/QVWKnQ
