How can I contact yahoo answers with a complaint?
I came on and discovered three of my contributions had been deleted. I didn't realize they were in violation of community guidelines, which I did read and reread to be sure.
I don't know why the were deleted. I didn't realize that there were violation emails, which don't tell the reason, sent to my SPAM folder. Since there was a ONE WEEK time limit and I don't regularly browse my spam folder I missed the opportunity to appeal.
Now I discover not only can I not discover why they were deleted, I had thirty points deducted, I cannot appeal the removal, I cannot contact yahoo answers and I cannot even delete the yahoo answers part of my account without deleting the email portion as well.
I don't normally complain but this seems like very poor service. I'm sure that this question probably is some sort of a violation, perhaps the soap box section? However as there is no other way I'm aware of to reach out to yahoo answers and I am clearly not alone in the sentiment based on similar questions, I feel this post is justified.
However unlikely, I hope that it is not reported or removed before SOMEONE at yahoo answers (actual employee, not "a more trusted member of the community") reads it.
2 AnswersYahoo Answers7 years agoHow to force desktop to detect input through hdmi, vga or dvi?
I asked previously for my projector. The problem was not resolved. I recently tried with an LCD tv and found the same issue. I've tried multiple threads on forums for any ideas and none of them seem to work. The computer will not recognize input from those sources except for one dvi port which is significantly lower on the back of the computer than the rest. That one is the one that the monitor is connected too. The tv does not have dvi capability but the projector does so that works for that outlet. The problem remains and I am at a loss for how to fix it. At this point my working theory is that there is a hardware issue. I'm open to other ideas.

I just got a refurbished mitsubishi dlp projector. I've had some limited experience with connecting projectors/tv's to computers so I wasn't too worried. I got an audio cable and dvi cable. I got everything set up and tried to connect the projector to my desktop (best computer). No luck. I checked and updated drivers. I tried detecting displays. I tried changing the computer resolution to the one specified by the mitsubishi page for my projector. I tried cycling through the inputs. I checked and rechecked all the connections. I tried restarting several times. I tried connecting it to my laptop and it worked without a hitch. I've spent the last couple of hours searching for some ideas online. I have yet to come up with any good ideas. Please, let there be some computer genius out there who can point out the answer sitting in plain view under my nose that I can't seem to see.

It has been down for a couple days but I can't find news. I've checked several sites that tell you if it is just you or if the site is down for everyone they all say it is down. Does anyone know if this is a server thing or some legal issue or anything of the like? Have they just moved? If so, where?
