Earlobe mystery that I cannot solve?
My earlobe has been like this for a couple years, I've researched earlobe infections and have not seen any like mine, it is unattractive and I feel embarrassed, any ideas on what it may be and how I could fix it?

my earlobe is very strange looking and has been like this for over a year, I've had my ear pierced for about 3 years now and it does not hurt but does become red and slightly swollen when I wear new earrings? Whats wrong with my earlobe? How can I fix it?
