  • Looking to buy a first car...?

So I've been eyeing this 1970 Fiat Spider for an incredibly low price. Has barely 30K miles on it, new paint, interior, etc. Only drawbacks are- its manual (I was planning on learning manual anyway, I just can't drive it immediately), the seller says its last lisenced in 1992 so it hasnt been driven and probably needs a tune up, and the top is deteriorating (enough to block rain and stuff, but a bit bad). Thoughts?

  • Pull Ups Arm Problem?

So cross country summer conditioning started up recently, an dinstead of stretching as a warm up, we lift weights. I dont lift on a regular basis, so little things like 45 pull ups hurt the first time you do them in a while. After 45 pull ups, my arms were sore, but in the morning I woke up to find that I literally couldnt stretch my arms out all the way. My 2 friends have this same problem, so I wa swondering how to fix it. I've been slowly stretching them and taking hot baths, but nothing works. Suggestions/ similar experiences and solutions?

  • 3-In 1 Question! (booya)?

Question 1: What's up with all these (pardon my language, oversensetive defenders) retarded people asking idiotic questions on Yahoo Answers!! I mean if youre poor to the point where you're schizophrenic and you ask about it on Yahoo Answers, you'd might as well shoot yourself.

Question 2: Whats the point of Yahoo Answers other than Riddles and Surveys? If you want a genuine answer to a question, try google, seriously.

Question 3: It's not a question, my new favorite phrase is "Obvious Troll is Obvious"

  • Who should I be (im saying things in order to make this question '20 characters long')?

For those of you who have seen "The Social Network", the opening scene closes with Rooney Mara telling Jesse Eisenberg "you'll probably grow up thinking people will hate you because you're a nerd, and I want you to know from the bottom of my heart that its not, It'll be because you're an asshole". Coordinating ironically, the movie ends with Rashida Jones telling Jesse Eisenberg "You're not an asshole Mark, you're just trying so hard to be". I remember telling my friends I want to be exactly like Mark Zuckerberg, his brutal honesty and arrogance was almost inspiring to me. I'd much rather stand out for all the wrong reasons than to fit in as someone I'm not, but after understanding the first and last lines of the movie, I'm not so sure if he truly was being a jerk on purpose. If the person (in this case character) you look up to is a lie, is it better to fit in, like them, or to act as who you thought they were?. In a world where it's better to ask forgiveness than permission, I'm not sure who I should be. No one has one definitive personality, we're all symbiotes, copies and reflections of those around us. We influence each other, not ideas, so what should I be, a conspicuous and arrogant doushebag, or a mix of those around me?

  • When you answer a question...?

When you answer a question, what do you do: Try and answer the question in order to help the person asking it, say something witty about the way they worded the question, complain, or anything else. Those are just some examples, but be as honest as you can.

  • Lunch and Finances...?

Now before you start reading, I'm not just going to whine about the nutritional value of school lunches, I just want to clarify that that isnt my point. The question is: Do you think $2.25 is too much for a school lunch meal? I ask this because at our school that is the price of the meal, at a normal price. I'm not sure whether to side with or to question the judgement of my peers. Half of the kids at my school wouldn't skip a beat to roll on over to KFC and waste $8 on a bucket of fat, so when I hear them complaining about "not having enough food and paying too much for it", it somewhat angers me, but it also sparks some ideas. I'd like to hear what you think before I decide my final thoughts.

  • DONT jailbreak your iPod! PLEASE HELP!?

This isnt a question, but more of a warning. I jailbroke my 3rd gen iPod touch at iOS 3.2. Since then ive been downloading things straight onto my ipod. After a while, most of the newer apps required a higher iOS system, so I synced my iPod and updated. HUGE mistake. EVERYTHING I've downloaded within the past 8 months of having it downloaded is now gone, along with all my cydia themes and mods. Is there any way to fix this? Im planning on jailbreaking it again once an iOS 4.2 Jailbreak comes out, but i still tried to restore it since i had everything backed up onto iTunes. Pleeease help me
