  • IGNORE previous question...?

I noticed that the unread messages are appearing in bold print again. Perhaps a temporary Yahoo glitch, or something with my computer? However, it still appears that the slight tinting of already-viewed emails is no longer there.

  • Why are my unviewed/unread messages in my inbox no longer "bold print"?

It used to be easy to tell, at a glance, which inbox messages I had read, and which ones I had not read, because the ones not yet viewed were in bolder print. Also, besides the fact that the viewed ones were in lighter print, they were tinted. Now all headings look the same. Is this a change? If so, I don't like it...

  • Can a laser pointer melt a coating of ice on a microwave antenna 30 feet up? I cannot access it otherwise.?

I live in a cold winter climate, and sometimes there will be ice storms in my area. I live far out in the country, and my only fast speed Internet access is via WIRELESS, which I am able to barely receive from a tower three miles away. My receiving antenna is about 30 feet up the antenna tower, and when it gets coated with ice I will lose my fast speed internet - sometimes for weeks. I don't really feel that I want to risk my life in the interests of climbing an ice-slicked antenna tower to clear ice off my internet-wireless antenna. I was wondering if I can direct a laser pointer to focus on the antenna, and gradually melt the ice? I can't think of any other possible way to "throw" heat to it. If I am to buy a laser pointer capable of doing this, what do I "look for" in such a product?

  • Dell B130: My touchpad keeps defaulting to hated tap-to-click! How can I change this permanently?

When I go into the menu, the default is that tap-to-click is checked. Everytime I reboot, log off, hibernate, etc. it defaults back to tap-to-click after the computer is on. I hate this feature! I do NOT want to disable the touchpad, just the tap-to-click. It's probably best that I keep tap-to-click as an OPTION (but not the default). If it must be kept as the default how can I prevent the computer from always defaulting to it?
