We saw a wonderful home. We liked it so much and it was such a good deal that we had a second visit within two hours and we were prepared to place an offer. Our agent drew up the paper work and emailed it to us. But a few minutes after that, she called and said that she was sorry the sellers had previously took an offer. Now I understand that things happen, but in my gut I think our agent screwed us somehow. Is it okay to show a house that is a really good deal to clients and then buy it for themselves?

My laptop is great. I've had it for three years. I am now starting to have a starting up problem. When I turned it on, it would sound like it is starting for 10 seconds or so and then turn off while the screen stayed black the whole time. But this only happens half the time. When it starts, it's great... works fine. Fans run... no problems. When I took it to best buy they told me it is the motherboard going bad. I'm skeptical because from my research, the motherboard is either bad or good... not this in between 50/50 crap. Then some of my research has made me question the graphics card being the problem. Does anyone have any experience with this and can you confirm whether or not it could be the motherboard.

When washing sheets, forgot rice pack was rolled up in it... now I am worried it is ruined. When I took it out of the washer... it was slimy with soap, so I put it in a rinse cycle. don't know what to do.

I had a green light and the other guy t-boned me on the driver's side. There was no witness and he claimed the light was green as well. The police gave out no citations and could not say one way or the other. Is there anyway to prove the that my light was green? Should I ask the police to further investigate it since there is a camera? What should be my next step? Thanks!

I was denied a credit card. I would like to take advantage of the free credit report that they said I was entitled to due to being denied; but it does not give me any information of how to get that free credit report. thanks

I was on a bus and watching a movie in front of me. It was about a guy (not sure if he was good or bad) who was killing a bunch of people. He was bald with a tattoo on the back of his head.

There was a scene in a hotel where his room was invaded by 4 or 5 men that were blown up when they opened it. He grabbed a rope and swung down several stories below where he had two guns in an ice machine. He then proceeded to kick a$$. There was also a memerable part about an elevater that he was able to control.

I got my new checks today from an account I recently opened. The first check was listed at 1,000. I was told that the bank starts the checks there if the customer has good credit. Can someone confirm that for me?
