I had a lower molar extracted this past thursday.. On tuesday, I am scheduled to have a CT of the abdomen/pelvis, where i have to drink barium.. Having had to drink barium before, its a lot easier if you can drink it quickly through a straw.. I know you arent supposed to use straws after extractions.. but for how long exactly? it seems to be healing nicely so far...

Sorry to put this in pets, but not sure where else it goes.. Anyway i commonly have downy woodpeckers at my feeders but lately have notice a bird that looks just like a downy, but its dk. brown and black, not white and black. I would like to know, is this a juvenile downy? or is there another type of similar woodpecker? I have pictures if anyone needs. thanks :)

has anyone seen these in store or online anywhere? i've only found them at toyrsus.com and they are always "not available" . they didnt have them at my store, and i would love to get them for my daughters for xmas. they looove mermaids! thanks :)
