About a week and a half ago I was feeding my BTA and my arm got stung by my Frogspawn coral.I now have blisters all up my arm.Just wondering what I can put on it to make it stop itching like crazy and what will make it heal.(it feels like it will never go away) ;) Thanks!!

I just bout 100 + pounds of LR from a local person who had a leak in his tank.He said the rock was out of the tank for 3 weeks but it was in a trash can with lighting and air stones.

There is some pink and purple algae on a few of the smaller pieces but the bigger rocks are just a off white creamy color.

I went ahead and set them in my 92G tank(newly set up 3 days ago put rocks in to cycle) with MH lighting and the temp is at 82.

I have been watching for anything Bugs or what not to emerge but i have seen nothing.Is there stuff in there?will corals come out of the rocks?Or did i just waste my money on "base" rock?

There are all types of different rock.It has no bad smell to it. how would i tell if it is live rock vs. base?

also how much sand do i need for a 92g?

What would i need to buy to get the critters and all the other Good stuff that live in rock live?

when can i buy the clean up crew?

I have a 20 gallon right now is that big enough?

It has a Refugium and a place for a skimmer and pump.(3 sections)

If it matters my tank is pre-drilled RR.

I'm setting up a 92 gallon saltwater tank.This is my first experience with saltwater.

If i buy some live rock and put it in my newly set up tank is that ok? (I have nothing in the tank right now)I was told that if i buy LR from someone I may end up with there problem if they had parasites and stuff like that(what if they dont and i miss out on a good deal is it worth the risk if there is one). The person I might buy from has 100 lbs and is selling it because they have a leak in their tank.

I was also told to just buy base rock......

Not sure what to do, should I buy the live or the base?

also if you have any other information about saltwater tanks?

Sunday she was very ill so I took her to the vet.

This is her first time EVER being sick.She was not eating or drinking and had a fever and was very depressed.The first vet said she was just constipated and sent me home with stool softener and gave her enema.Next day she was not better and now had blood in her stool.So we went back to the vet, she now had blood work done (ruled out parvo) and found she has a low Platelet count. So he sent her home with some antibiotics.Next day (Today) still not doing better same symptoms so we went to a different vet.He said he had to do some more blood work and he wanted to keep her.He call me to tell me the BAD news that she looks and has the symptoms of being infected with Ehrlichia.Now she is showing the symptoms of :lethargy loss of interest in food,clotting problems ,low White Blood Cell count, anemia,and weakness.

So the question is it to late for my baby?

She is a five pound 1 year old yorkie-poodle mix.Please Say a little prayer for Basha.......

I took my yorkie/poodle mix to the vet yesterday and the day before and Im going today!(problem started Saturday Morning,She was just fine the night before without any symptoms)She is very sluggish and shivers.(she normally is a "excited" dog)

Im just looking to see if anyone has had this happen to there dog?!

She is Very weak and Not eating or drinking and Blood in the stool.(Vet said Could be from being constipated)

She was diagnosed with constipation and given fluids and a antibiotic.

but i think its something more.I feel like Im just watching my baby die.

the vet did blood work and a parvo test all came back ok.She was not dehydrated.And she is not vomiting.I have to force her to eat and give her water with a eye dropper. We thought maybe my neighbor threw something in my yard.or that she has something in her stomach that wont digest.(took x-rays but could not see anything)I did give her advantage multi 6 days ago?!(bought at a vets office)

So if there is any Vet,vet tech,or anyone who has had the same problems PLEASE HELP me so i can suggest something for the vet to check over today at the vet.I Really cant lose my dog and Im afraid that We are missing something.........

I have a 1.5year old female yorkipoo that was and still is not acting herself.

She wont come when i call her she just sits or lays in the same spot shivering.when normally she listens to every word i say and she normally sleeps with me on the couch.now she wont even jump on the couch.She just started acting like this today i was hoping the vet would help.

I took her to the Vet and he thought it was her blood sugar level.Nope not it! so we did a x-ray and found out she is EXTREMELY CONSTIPATED.

he gave her Enema and a stool softener. 10 hours later she is still doing the same thing but now pooing blood!

I dont know what to do for my poor baby.Im taking her back to the tomorrow.

Any Ideas to help my poor pup?Could it be more than being constipated?

She will not drink or eat anything.she just sleeps and shivers.

I Have a 13 week old Maltese he is 4.5 pounds(72oz).

His mom is 5.5 pounds and his dad is 5 pounds.

I was told he would be 5-6 pounds.

Ive looked at weight charts and they say he will be around 8-10 pounds.

HOW is that possible?

Or is he just a super fast grower?

She is a Pomeranian(2.5 years) with three 4 week old pups.

I took her outside today and she was in a play pen with her pups(1st time out with pups).

then she started sneezing it was around 85 out........ she had plenty of food and water.

NOW she CANT walk and is breathing very hard gave her children's Benadryl & cold bath (temp was 107.2)

her eyes look ok an her gums look nice and pink.

its been about 3 hours and now she is sleeping.

temp is low now around 97.5-98

I have been giving her water through a dropper every so often.

any other advice?

is it to late for her?

What happened to her?

Local Vet is closed. Going in morning!!!!

what do i do with pups?(goats milk ok?)

they are on soaked food.

no sure what to do with them.

i have a Havanese that i have owned for about 2 weeks now..... she is very very skiddish and will bark non stop at people and grow and snap at people if they get to close(like she has never been around people or socialised)..... she is very attached to me and is great with my 2 year old and other dogs.She really hates my husband and will go crazy if she even hears him.I dont want to get rid of her and but i dont know what to do?! its it her temperment or is she just still scared? should i just give her more time? i talked to the breeder(whom im not to happy with) and she said she just needs time and she is just not used to all of the attention.as much as i want that to be true im just not sure about it. anyone else had this problem or know what i can or should do?!? i have a 7 month Havanese and her coat is thin around her legs and kinda thin around her muzzel, i was wanting to know if anyone with a havanese or knows the breed knows if it should grow more as she ages or if it will stay as it is. i ask because some people say it take 2 years for a havaneses coat to fully grow but i dont know what exactly that means.and my sis has a male havanese and it has a full coat at 5 months.so should her hair get fuller or just longer or both or not do much? i just got this new dog a (havanese) and she has a spot on her leg where it looks as if she got shaved, and there is a faided red spot vet thinks it COULD be ringworm but it not sure without a test but a test cost 50$ and i have no way of paying 50$ for a test and then if its is ringworm paying more for it(short on cash). the breeder says none of her dogs have any signs and that its just a spot where she got hurt somehow. is there any over the counter ointoment for ringworm i can buy for her( that wont hurt her) just in case it is ringworm.(better safe than sorry) i have other pets and a 2 year old i have to worry about i dont need any of them getting this fungus.oh and if i do give her meds when will she be safe to go around? thanks!!

anyone ever bought a puppy off of euro puppy.com? do u think they r trustworthy?im thinking about buying a havanese puppy 4 christmas any suggestions? cause no one else in the us will sell with FULL AKC reg. and they all have retarded contracts!! what should i do?

i installed windows one care live on my computer and it works good except when i have the firewall on i cant get on the internet. when its off it works fine.ive tried everything.. and nothings working!! PLEASE HELP!!
