I just returned from a trip to Atlantic City, NJ. When I arrived at the Atlantic City airport, before I left everyone had to enter some type of "portal." It was a round tubelike area. You stood in front of the door and it opened and you went in. The door then closed and you stayed in there for a few seconds and then it opened on the other side so you could continue on your way. It was very close the exit to the street (not about to board a plane or anything, but leaving the airport.)

When going back to the Atlantic City airport, there was no "portal"to go through to get on the plane and head back home. I asked two different security staff what exactly it was I went through upon my arrival at the Atlantic City airport. I was given wisecrack answers such as "it was a time machine." It's a "portal to another dimension." I could not get a straight answer.

Curiosity is killing this cat! If anyone knows what it was I was enclosed in, please let me know!

I am on the pill and stopped started my "sugar pills" in the pack on Sunday. I started my period on Wednesda. I really, really want it to end by tomorrow or Saturday because I have an important "engagement" Saturday night. Is there a way to do this??? Thanks!

I think they are absolutely adorable but everyone I tell I want a ferret to talks like they are so gross. Any ferret owners? Can they be paper or litter trained? Would my dog or cat get along with them? etc.

I worked for a school system where they paid for my master's degree. The contract I signed said that if I left the county within 5 years of completing my graduate degree that i would have to pay them back. No problem, I plan on paying them back BUT now they are telling me that I have to pay them back in 3 years which is about $500 a month that I simply DO NOT have. They can't force me into a timeframe to pay them back after the fact since they didn't give me a timeframe to pay them back in the contract, right? I'm thinking that as long as I make a concerted effort then they should leave me alone but now I'm scared they are going to turn me into a collection agency or something. Can they do this if I am paying SOMETHING on a regular basis? Thanks!

When I look online at real estate there are some homes with a fancy little box around them that reads "Showcase." What does this mean? Is it a new listing? Is it being lived in now and furnished?
