Can gastric bypass patients take bromelain?
Some have said that side effects of bromelain can include nausea and vomiting, which makes me wonder if it will upset the stomach of someone who has had gastric bypass.
Also, since the normal human body has trouble absorbing enzymes, with the gastric bypass literally bypassing the beginning of the small intestine, where most enzymes (and other things) are absorbed, would it even do any good to take it or would it simply flush through the body without being absorbed at all.

I would hope that someone running for Vice-President would know:
1) The Constitution
2) His own job description

And if your answer is yes, then: Shouldn't white Democrats use the same logic and back McCain even if they don't agree with him?

3 AnswersToys1 decade agoXM Direct Question. How do I hard wire the power so it doesn't reset the presets?
I've got it all torn apart, and I'm pretty good at installing stuff like this. I've read that people have direct connected the power from the radio to the XMDirect system so that the presets don't get reset every time the car is turned off. I just need to know which wires to use, because I don't want to fry the whole thing! It is a Sony player, the TERK XMDirect system, and the specific Sony tuner to hook the two together. The radio works great, works perfectly actually, except that the presets disappear when turned off or cycled from CD to Tuner to XM.
3 AnswersCar Audio1 decade agoWhere is the remote starter located on my 2001 Durango?
I just bought a used 2001 Durango. Under the hood on the fusebox there is a sticker that says "ATTENTION, REMOTE STARTER" and tells to disable it before under-hood work. I have also found a part under the dash that seems to be part of a remote starter kit. Unfortunately neither has any writing on them identifying a brand or anything else. The car did not come with a remote for this starter. Where would the main unit be located so I can find a brand name?
4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWhy the big deal about rat poison in pet food?
Don't get me wrong, this is a horrible deal. But only a few dozen pets have gotten sick or died. Tobacco companies put the same rat poisons and plastic making chemicals into cigs and chew. 1200 people die every day from tobacco. Now compare the public outcry over the two and ask youself: Why the big deal about rat poison in pet food and not about rat poison in tobacco?
