I am planning to buy a new camera and confused between a high end compact like Canon s100 or a mirror less option like Sony Nex-3. Mirrorless seems to be evolving as of now, with every manufacturer releasing a new model too frequently. My question : "Are mirror less cameras as of now performing better than high end compacts like s100, in the same price bracket" i.e. Canon s100 is near 450 USD.

I am not sure if Canon s100 is best bet, from the reviews and results it seems LX5 is having great picture capabilities but its little outdated and has software issues. Does it makes sense to wait for LX6 to launch or Canon s100 is best high end option?

I saw reviews for Nikon p310 but its not at par with these.

I am a Software Developer(J2EE) from Jaipur(India).

I am looking for a laptop with following criteria

1. Core 2 Duo Processor

2. 1 Gb Ram Expandable to 2 Gb or more

3. Operating System should be Free Dos or Win XP Professional

4. Bluetooth

5. Don't need things like Face Recognition and thumb reader etc.

6. Nvidia Graphics card if available.

7. Cost should be max Rs. 50,000.

Please suggest some model that matches my requirements. Also suggest some website that offers comparision of multi laptop brands.

My preferences are

1. Time to travel should be less from Jaipur, so either a direct flight or train to the Hill Station.

2. My stay will be for 7-8 days, so the hill station should have a couple of locations to traverse in these days.

3. Good hotels and taxi related information about the place.

4. Place should be safe for couples.

Please tell me how can I become contributor/developer for these communities ??
