  • How to unstick a stuck ball on a navel ring?

Obviously, I can return it if nothing else works, but I was hoping someone had an idea. I just received a navel ring that I ordered in the mail and the bottom ball is soldered on and the top ball seems impossible to remove. I can't put it on. It has regular threading, not internal threading. We have tried putting it in the freezer, warming it up, using pliers and also a rubber band for traction. I'm desperate! Any other ideas I can try without destroying it before I send it back and ask for another?

  • Does this sound like an alternator problem?

Lately, when driving, if I have a lot of electric things on in the car such as radio, lights, air conditioner, and wipers (in any combination) my Kia Optima will sometimes stall. When it happens (which is a couple of times a week) almost always it does it when stopped at a red light, but sometimes (rarely) while driving and sometimes upon accelerating if the engine is still cold.

My husband swears it is a short, but I don't think it is. It seems like alternator trouble to me. I would take it to a mechanic, but hubs says if it's a short we could never afford to have them find out the location to fix it. Of course if it's the alternator, we can afford it no problem. Because he thinks it's a short, he won't take it to the shop.

  • How to bookmark a spot in MS Word?

I am reading a book-sized document that was sent to me via e-mail and it is formatted for MS Word. What is the quickest and easiest way for me to bookmark a spot so that I can close it and come back to the same place in the document later?

  • Do you know this font?

Does anyone know the name of the font used in the sidebar links of this website?

    http://www.midwifejules.com/mamas.html

It looks a little like Lumos or Charlemagne, but it isn't either of them.
