  • Views on Sky Customer Service?

I recently phoned Sky to cancel my subscription, I do not feel it is any of their business why I want to do so although I accept that they do not want to lose customers. I was asked why I wanted to cancel and when I said that I did not want to say, I was asked if there was a reason that I did not want to say. This continued for a few minutes with the Sky agent repeating the question and saying that she was only doing her job (?).

I eventually stated that I was not prepared to undergo any further interrogation and said that I was working away for 6 months, which they accepted.

Why can't they just accept that some people do not want to, and, as far as I can see, do not have to give reasons to cancel a service that they are paying for?

Comments and others folks experiences please.
