  • Careless driving Ticket, Officer said I could not attend school.?

    I unfortunately caused an accident yesterday. We were in traffic and a I rear ended a person. The officer said I could not elect to attend traffic school, due to my careless driving. I am planning to call up to the County, and figure it out, however in the meantime I was wondering if anyone had an experience with this?

    I was issued a ticket for 121 dollars, when in the state of Florida, all of the careless driving tickets I have seen have been $80.50. I am confused as to why he said I could not attend the class. Everywhere I have looked has not stated that I cannot attend.
