  • What are the causes of frequent urination, especially at night?

I am a 33 yr old female. I have to pee more often than most people. I saw a urologist and she told me nothing was wrong, but gave me a medication called Vesicare. I couldn't handle the side effects so I stopped using it. My gynecologist told me I have fibroid but I am not sure they are causing my frequent orientation. I don't drink after 7:00 or 8:00 pm and I go to bed between 12:00 and 1:00am so I know that's not the cause. I was tested for diabetes and I was cleared of that. Its very embarrassing having to pee so often especially since I am on crutches from having ankle surgery and I often draw attention getting up so often to go to the bathroom!

Anyone else dealing with this issue?

  • What causes post surgery nausea?

I had ankle surgery on Nov. 4th. They gave me oxycontin, oxycodone/percoset as pain killers. I haven't taken them in about a week and a half because they were making me sickly. Recently one area where I have stitches has caused some nerve pain in which I have some sharp prickly pain and numbness. I tried the meds again to stop the pain, but they were ineffective. I'm still nauseous and have a lack of appetite after stopping the meds for the 2nd time. What could be the problem?

  • Can you sue for emotional stress in an accident that wasn't your fault and there are no phyiscal injuries?

An idiot was driving in his work pick up truck on a highway in NY. Another car merged into my lane and I put on my brakes to slow down. The idiot driving behind me was reaching down to pick up his ciggarette and crashed into me at full speed. My back windshield was smashed and shattered along with my rear bumper. The other driver admits fault but I am not sure what ticket the police gave him. Although right now I feel ok (sometimes you don't feel the injuries until the next day), I am emotionally shaken up and will obviously have a lot of work to do in resolving this accident.I am furious! What else can I do?

  • Has any one out there ever had an ACHILLES TENDONITIS injury? How long did it take for you to heal?

I played in a school charity basketball game in January. I was only in the game for a few minutes in 2 quarters. I don't exercise much and I only warmed up for a short time. I didn't fall or twist in an odd way and was perfectly fine when I walked to my car and went home. Two hours later, I had excruciating pain in my left ankle.

I had a normal x-ray and was told that I injured my achilles (not torn). I've been going to physical therapy 3 times a week since January and I'm still not walking. I also had an MRI and I was told that it showed tendinitis. I'm still in pain and can't put my heel down. My orthopedist mentioned blood platelet injections or surgery...what's going on?

  • Why did I black out for hours due to period cramps?

A couple of years ago while I was in college, I woke up one morning around 8:00 A. M. and knew my period was going to start. I went to take a shower and had to stop in the middle when I became very queasy. I was seeing double but managed to get back to my dorm room. The pain hit me so bad, all I could do was lay down. I woke up about 5:00pm...about 8 hours later!!! What's Up?

  • I am a female and when I swallow, it feels like there is a lump in my throat...what could it be?

I plan to go to the doctor soon, but I was just wondering if any other people have experienced this. Thyroid problems run in the family. Thanks for your input.

  • Can everyone act?

My friend completely disagrees with me. I got bamboozled into being in this play. I know I can't act my way out of a paper bag. The INEXPERIENCED director always says, "You'll be fine!"

    She's wrong ...right?

  • New teacher dissin'?

I am a new teacher in the subarbs... I previously taught in a more urban/mainly black and hispanic area. Now I have parents who are questioning my skills. Some don't want their kids in my class because it's my first time teaching the 3rd grade. How should I feel about this?

  • I have a question about some tiny little bugs I've found in my small, studio (old) apartment.?

On my floor I have papers from Grad school etc. stacked in piles and in crates. Sometimes when I pick up a piece of paper, I see a a teeny tiny little bug. I have no idea what they are or what to do about them. Any one ever noticed them? They are kind of the color red or orange. Thanks.
