I can't stand to think about a heart so big it hurts like hell....
Need advice regarding mortgage options?
Who can my husband and I speak to about our home-buying options? We want someone who will give us honest advice and not try to sell us anything...does that job even exist? We would be willing to pay a fee, of course.
Our situation is this: moving because of husbands job, selling house but will get very little equity out of home, so will have a small down payment (<10K). Looking at homes in the 200K range. Good credit. We just need to know what our options are re: loan types, possible down payment assistance, etc.
1 AnswerRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoFor all parents of babies & young children...?
Do you know about Bisphenol-A? It's a chemical that can leach from plastics and cause many health problems. The very same plastics that MOST baby bottles and sippy cups are made from. I only recently was made aware of this and I was truly horrified. I've replaced all my daughter's bottles with BPA free ones (I bought BornFree brand) and I urge you to do the same. Here's a great blog that has done most of the legwork into finding safe alternatives:

and the baby seems to have settled on my right side. They always find the heartbeat on that side, and I can feel him/her on the right also. Is there a reason for this? Could it be a problem? Is it just the baby's preference? FYI, this is my third child.
8 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agovisiting Disneyland/California Adventures while pregnant?
I'll be visiting Disneyland with family at the end of June, when I'll be about 30 weeks pregnant. Obviously the rides are out. I need ideas of things to do. I'm thinking food will figure prominently in to my time there, so best places to eat would be great. Things I can do alone also, since everybody else will be standing in line or on rides. Also any "survival" tips from other women who've done amusement parks while pregnant! Thanks.
12 AnswersLos Angeles1 decade agoenlarged uterus and frequent, heavy periods?
Now, before everyone says "go to the doctor", let me say, this is a relative I'm asking about, not myself, and she is seeing a doctor about it. I am mainly interested in similar experiences and what they turned out to be, or informal medical opinions on her symptoms. For more information, she is in her early 50's, not yet menopausal, and has never had children. And there is zero chance of pregnancy.
1 AnswerWomen's Health1 decade agoWe need to buy a new vehicle, but can't afford a high monthly payment?
And we need a vehicle with three row seating, so there aren't many (or any) inexpensive options. We don't know what to do. Should we lease for the smaller monthly payment? We were also thinking of refinancing our home and getting cash out to pay for the vehicle; would this be a good or bad thing to do? Any advice would be appreciated.
