  • Re-schooling: High school math teacher or MBA and maybe Doc. to teach college?

One of those Michigan people that lost their job, found another and now that one's gone. Going back to school and a math major with educational requirements is 3 years, MBA 2, and maybe Docotrates after MBA so I can teach at more colleges. And...a well known school vs. an unknown acredited college, which one should I attend?

  • Where are there alot of new homes being built? City/State?

I am a residential builder and finish carpenter in Michigan. It is easier to find a spotted owl or the lochness monster then it is to see a new home under construction. With so many foreclosures here, building a new home would be completely stupid.......am willing to relocate to a better market.....thanks for your help.

  • Will a bankruptcy keep me from getting an accounting job?

My spouse is a builder. With the current home bust he has lost alot of money and has incurred alot of debt. Unfortunitly some with my name on it. We are going to lose our home. I'm going to graduate from a great accounting school in three months, will a potential bankruptcy hurt my chances on getting hired? And no, I don't do the books for his company. I'm looking for serious answers from attorneys, H.R. people, or persons with past credit related experiences, thanks for helping.

  • Quixtar or "TEAM" have you heard of it, and what are the negatives?

About a year ago a lady told me about this new business "Quixtar" it sounded to me to be like Amway. I heard her speach and when she was done I felt bad for her and gave her the money, signed up and never followed through with meetings and such. A year later a friend of mine noticed my name on the charts and said that the group I was in was doing really well. All I had to do is begin to use the system and I would receive good dividends. Do you know about this company? And is this another Amway scheme or the real McCoy?
