My husband and his ex have it outlined in their divorce that even though she gets to be the custodial parent that she must provide him with an 8332 to give him the"exclusive" right to claim the child as a DEPENDENT on the odd years. We pay almost 500/mo (and have never been late or in default) for a child we never even get to see, you would think that every other year we might get to claim the EIC for that child but noooo. I HATE greedy exes. If the parents share the cost of the child, they should have to share the EIC too.

It drives me crazy when women ask this. When you are, you will more than likely know. I say, if you have to ask, you already know the answer. Wishful thinking does not make you pregnant and the more you stress about it, the less likely it is to really happen. Wait until you miss a period and go buy a test.
