I ordered a sofa from Ashley Furniture but unfortunately the delivery guys could not bring it up to my apartment. I called and cancelled my order. The day after, the amount showed pending on my credit card but the next day it was gone. Does that mean they never charged me?

So today some asshole hit my car at a parking lot. I got out of the car to talk to the guy and he quickly looked as his car and said no damage was done and tried to make a quick getaway. My car was ok on the outside but I wanted to take pics of his plates just in case. The guy tried to block me and told me to stop. He them threatened to send his "buddies" to my house to take care of me if I tried to send my insurance on him. He even took pics of my plates and tried to take some of me. Anyway the guy ended up leaving when I threatened to call the police. I am trying to file a report to the police online but they want the make, model and year, which I know nothing about. Would appreciate any help and advice. Thanks.

i have a dell inspiron 1440 with a faulty dvd/cd drive. i have tried device manager and rebooted and when that didn't work i thought the laser in the disk drive might not work anymore so i replaced it and it still won't play dvds. it plays cds fine but when i put a dvd in it just makes weird noises but never recognizes them. what can be wrong?

i made an account but i don't know what to do. it seems like all people do is post pictures and gifs of random things. is there more to it?

i want to buy tinted eyeglasses but i don't know if i should add the AR coating to it. will it make me see better through the glasses if i added it?
