I hate myself for it now, but I attempted to overclock my Dell Optiplex GX270 running Windows 7. I tried a program from online (I cant remember what it was called, it was so long ago). Ultimately it never worked, so i decided to reinstall it with Windows XP to give to my brother. It took 48 hours to fully install and when I try to start the computer I get the background but no task bar or anything else. I figured it was a bad DVD, so I tried installing Ubuntu Linux instead. That didn't work either. Did I damage some hardware from the overclock? If so, what should i try to replace?

I have Comcast high speed internet. 6 MB connection, but i am really gertting 10 MB which i am very pleased with. I play xbox live and PC online games. I've played on multiple computers on the same connection. Every time we are playing our games it lags on us. I check the modem when the games lag and the orange button for PC activity stops flashing but everything else is still flashing. I called Comcast and they say that there is nothing they can do. I think our internet is just inconsistent. What would be a cause for this problem?

I know this is like finding a needle in a haystack but im hoping someone out there know what im talking about.

Im helping a neighbor set up a computer. She wants it where when you put a picture CD into the drive and a little box will come up asking which program do you want to open this as. Instead, she get a box that displays the folder with all the pictures in it. I right clicked the D:/ and went to the properties and made sure they were all set for asking to perform an action. I don't know what else to check. She's doesnt like to use the folder, so i gotta find a way to get the little box to come up. Thanks

I can program in VB and Java. but plan on learning C++ and C#.

I enjoy 2D and 3D design. I can use AutoCad, Solid Edge and BricsCAD. I plan on taking a Catia class.

If I create a video using NHL players and post it up on youtube or somewhere else, do i need NHL's ok for it to be posted? There are already a bunch of NHL videos on youtube and im sure not many of them have NHL's ok to put them on the net.

every saturday at midnight i get a call from "restricted number". They call 4 times and i answer on the forth time. They said "Hi, im Ahsley" in a 10 years olds voice. then they said "im going to cut your man parts off." Then i hung up. So next saturday at midnight i want to answer and have a comeback to them. give some ideas or other options.

i can't call them back because its restricted number.

there is a couple of things i have questions with. How can i get an x-box to a wireless modem with other x-box's in the room. I also want my psp to the internet. do i need a wifi max to play games online or just the wireless internet in the room can i get online.

are glitches in video games programmed or are they actually glitches? i think the programmer intenitally puts it in sometimes.
