My piercing is irritated?
I recently changed my lobe earrings after 6 weeks. I put on these earrings for only 2 minutes but took them off because they were too heavy. Ever since they have been really sore in one ear lobe and its red and a little bit of reddish (not blood) is on it but not that much. I don't think it is infected, just really irritated. What should I do?
2 AnswersOther - Skin & Body8 years agoMy earring backing is loose?
So I got my ears pierced for the first time last weekend. During the week I had on a headband, and forgetting my ears were pierced I kinda just threw it on. It caught onto my right earring and now it feels looser when I twist it compared to my left ear. I tried to tighten the back but I knew it was way too tight so I pulled it back and it was the same. Is it okay that it's loose? Or should it try to tighten it? Thanks and 10 points for best answer!

1 AnswerOther - Beauty & Style8 years agoEconomy Shipping on Ebay?
I need to make a little extra cash, so I want to sell some items on ebay. Is there any way I can ship the items to the buyer for free? Is that economy shipping? If I can do this, should I use USPS, Fedex or UPS? Sorry I'm sort of new, but I could really use some information on free shipping. Thanks, and best answer WILL get 10 points!

Good morning! I am working on an adventure fiction short story for my literacy class, and I was wondering if you could help me out a bit? Just let me know what I should change. Thanks!
"Hello?" Maggie answered the phone. Esther took her out to dinner while Maggie came to visit her in New York. They were at Esther's favorite restaurant, Daniel, in Manhattan. Esther was annoyed that Maggie would answer her phone while they were at a gorgeous restaurant, spending time together. They rarely saw each other. But Maggie kept on talking.
"Rhonda...when?" Esther looked puzzled. She wanted to yell "Mags, what is going on?", But she didn't because she didn't want to be recognized...she was the editor of Vogue, after all. She gave her a dirty look, but Maggie ignored and kept on talking.
"Who could have killed him?" Maggie asked impatiently. Now Esther was really confused. Maggie abruptly hung up the phone.
"Mags, what is going on?" Esther asked.
"Juan...he's dead. And Jooty shot him." Maggie said dryly. Esther looked like someone had slapped her in the face. But in a way, those words slapped her harder than anything else could. Juan was Maggie's husband. How could Jooty ever kill him? She knew how much Juan meant to her.
"I....I....I just....Jooty? How could she...." Esther's voice trailed off. Jooty was their other third. She had been friends with them since middle school, that's why Esther was so confused. How could someone who knew them so well do the worst thing on earth, murder?
"Look, you can finish your meal...I need to get back to my hotel. I'll call you later." Maggie said, turning slightly green.
"Okay, Mags, I'll talk to you soon." Esther needed some time to think, and so she stayed.
Esther finished her meal, politely tipped the waiter, and walked out to her car. She was devastated. She would go insane if Alex died, so who could imagine what Maggie was feeling?
Esther opened the door to her apartment. Looking around, it felt empty and cold. She tore off her coat a collapsed into the leather couch. She clutched a pillow and cried, and cried. For once in her life, she wasn't working. And another first...she fell asleep without thinking.
The loud ring of her cell phone woke her up, leaving her feeling dazed. She knew who it was.
"Maggie...how are you?" Esther said, trying to sound like she was awake.
"I'm alright. I stayed up all night trying to figure out where Jooty might be. And I found her...she's in France, living with our friend Julie...remember her? I tracked her cell phone down...it wasn't hard. Anyways, I'm leaving a bit later this morning. I don't want to bother you to come..." Esther realized what she meant. Leaving New York City was like comitting suicide. She couldn't leave without having tons of work to come back to. But Esther had to...it wasn't a choice at this point. She needed to talk to Jooty.
"I'll be there...don't worry about it. I'll have Gabriella do the work...she'll be fine, I trust her." Esther said quickly, not wanting to change her mind...because she knew she probably would.
"Okay, Esther. I'll see you at ten sharp. Meet me at the Manhattan Air Port...I've booked a flight."
Esther was scared. She knew if she found Jooty...that meant their friendship would be over. Completely over. And Esther wasn't ready for that.
But she had to be.
Thank you so much! Again, I haven't really edited it that much, so if you want to change something, please let me know! I need critsism, don't hold back!

I had posted this story yesterday, but I hadn't edited it well. Here is my revisions...please edit!
My mother, Clara, kissed me on the cheek. Her lips were as cool as ice, due to the subzero weather in Seattle. She assured me everything would be fine, as I stayed with my father when she went on her trip with Alexander.
We were in the airport, waiting for my father’s flight to come in from North Carolina.
Well, a long time ago when my mother was living in Switzerland, she met my father. He was an exchange student for her best friend, Vivienne. My mother and father instantly fell in love, high school sweethearts. They knew they had to be married when they graduated, so my father moved to Switzerland and they married.
A few years later, I came along. I was their pride and joy.
But that’s when things went wrong. I was two when they divorced. One night, my mother brought me to my father’s office to surprise him with dinner. When we walked in, he was kissing one of his assistants. He was having an affair, and my mother immediately divorced him. He moved back to America with his girlfriend, leaving my mother and me in Switzerland, cold and alone.
Eventually, my mother remarried to a man named Alexander Vogel. He was a world famous investor. He was tall, slim. His silky brown hair cascaded into curls, just waiting for a woman to ruffle it with their delicate fingers. My mother had to have him. They married when I was four. We moved to Seattle, Washington when I was seven because there were bigger clients there. I wasn’t sure I wanted to move to America, knowing that my evil father was living there. My mother even made me go to his house in North Carolina in the summers. I liked my father, but I could never forgive him for leaving us for that trash bag of a woman. They never got married, too. What a waste of time. Alexander was much better to us. He treated us like princesses. Giving us what we wanted, an endless supply of gifts…probably to make up the time he was on business trips. Every time he left, he came back with a stuffed animal for me and diamonds for my mother. I could tell that Alexander gave her everything she wanted that my father couldn’t give, like a nice home, limitless love and connections to everything. Alexander was the love of her life.
It was my mother and Alexander’s ninth wedding anniversary, and they were going to California for a little getaway.
“Darling, Alexander and I will only be gone for one week. Your father with take very good care of you, I promise.” My mother told me. I wasn’t so sure I believed her, only because my father, Lucas had done something so terrible to us. Carlisle was a better father than him for sure.
“Mum, it’s just that father…I don’t trust him…” I said, my voice trailing off.
“Cassidy, everything will be fine. You can always call us if you feel uncomfortable.” Alexander said, trying to relieve me. That was another thing we loved about him…he always knew the right thing to say.
They tried to comfort me until Lucas and a strange, tall, thin boy entered the room. He looked to be about seventeen years old.
“Mum, Alexander, it’s…father.” I said, with disappointment in my voice. Lucas was wearing an army green shirt with skinny corduroy pants. Definitely a difference from my mother’s black silk blouse and a cream pencil skirt and Alexander’s gray suit. She gasped and whipped around.
“Mum…who is that tall boy?” I asked her quietly.
“Gregg, you brought him?! How dare you? You Cassidy doesn’t-“ My father cut her off.
“Hi pal! How are ya?” Gregg said, ignoring my mother completely. I hadn’t visited him in three years. I hadn’t missed him that much, but he was my father after all.
He picked me up and hugged me. I gave him a bear hug back, realizing I had actually missed him a lot more than I had thought. My mother gave him a look of disgust.
“Well, Alex and I should really board now. So, take good care of her, please. If one hair on her head is harmed, I will kill you.” my mother said with sarcasm, but at the same time, she was serious.
“Everything will be fine. I’ll take great care of her.” he promised. Alexander gave him the look….as in saying “I will hurt you if she has been.”
My mother and Alexander hugged me, and then boarded on the plane back to San Francisco, California. Who knew this would be the last time I’d see her.

How can I tell my crush I like him without it being awkward?
2 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoDoes he like me or not?
So theres this boy I really like. We talk a lot, kinda flirty, but not really. He always jokes around with me and stuff. He also always tells me he likes someone, and gives me a bunch of clues. I fit some of them. A few boys were guessing, and when they said my name, he paused and blushed. Does he like me or is he just being friendly? I am going to tell him I like him on the last day of school, by giving him a note in french saying "Je vous aime- (My initials)" which means "I like you". Good idea?!
