Hi, my daughter is getting married next year and as the mother of the bride I will be doing a reading or poem at the ceremony. I am beginning to stress about it, eventhough I really want to do this. I have searched the internet but as yet havnt found anything I like. I would be truely grateful for help.

As a couple they are truely meant to be, theyve been going out together some 9 years and are great together. As a daughter I couldnt have wished for more, shes just everything parents wish for.

A work colleague/friend has just told me today that she is an alcoholic. She has never told anyone at work and has sworn me to sec racy, what should i do with this information???? she has fallen off the wagon only yesterday!!

My Daughter was out last night, she had only had 2 glasses of wine when she became extremely unwell and violently sick her girl friends took her to the paramedics who are located in the town. They did an ecg on her and was told to go home and rest. When she was vomiting it was white frothy vomit.

She is a sensible girl a third year occupational therapist and has never taken any drugs before, she dosnt even smoke cigarettes!

She is away at university and i have just spoken with her on the phone, she says she now feels fine but was shaken up by this and cant believe how quickly this must have happened, she has been very tearful about this all day and is now worried to even go out.

My concern is any long term damage this may cause, im hoping it wont cause any!! I am so worried and i feel sickened by this.

Please can anyone give me some information as to what damage this may have caused. Would it be possible for liver damage to have occurred? or do you think the fact that she has been ok today and the fact she had only a couple of alcoholic drinks before this incident that hopefully she will be ok.

please can someone reassure me i feel sick about this and so worried.

Yesterday my beautiful Boxer died, he was 9 and half years old. He was such a fine robust dog with a huge personality. We have had him since he was a puppy and our home wont be the same without him. I was alone with him when he died and it happened so quickly with no warning, he had a heart attack you would never have guessed he was going to die. I knew Boxers have a life expectancy of only ten years but i always thought we would have seen a deterioration in him but we didn't he seemed so fit and well.He died in my arms and it was just heart breaking. Make the most of your dogs whilst you have them xxx

Ive just downloaded my ESTA visa for New York. It looks so small, just displays the registration and passport number! have i down loaded the right thing??

We are travelling to New York next week for the first time. Would love some tips on good places to eat thats reasonably priced but good food.Ideas for both breakfast and evening meals would be great.
