  • Question Regarding Proportions?

    I need to know what a proportion is exactly, what it exactly means (what it implies), and how its useful. Basically, I'm just confused about Triangle Side Proportions and any help on this subject will be greatly appreciated. I know all those SAS and AA similarity theorems, but I don't get how you prove that 2 sides are proportional to each other. So, just a basic overview of triangle proportions or a link is very helpful to me. Thanks!
