My roommate had a package delivered for her to the leasing office. She works 9-6 M-F while the leasing office hours are 10-5 M-F, so she would need to either get off work earlier, late, or call in to be able to stop in the office to get her package. Are they allowed to refuse to let me pick it up for her, even though we live at the same address?

I just moved into an apartment in Columbus, OH on 8/19/2017 and noticed quite a few roaches. After speaking with a few other residences, it seems to be an ongoing problem for the complex. I've looked into how I can break my lease without suffering any monetary consequences, but also want to be refunded for my nom-refundable pet fee and for the leasing company to pay for a move to a new place (since I paid for a company to move me here).

I've looked for anything I could use to convince the leasing office to honor my request without getting lawyers involved, and have found: OH Rev Code § 5321.04, subsection 1 "(A landlord shall) Comply with the requirements of all applicable building, housing, health, and safety codes that materially affect health and safety;" and City of Columbus Ordinance 713.03, subsection E "Every dwelling, dwelling unit, multiple dwelling, business building or premises on which it is located shall be maintained in a rodent-free, insect-free, and rodent-proof condition." Should this be enough to get what I want, or do I have to get a lawyer?

If two balloons are filled with the same volume of gas, one filled with air and the other with helium, then placed at the same depth in water and released, will the helium filled balloon reach the surface sooner?

I have some prefabricated cabinets and some tape on one of the sides peeled off some of the faux wood finish on one of the side panels. I was thinking there d be some kind of peel and stick wood-looking sheet that I could use to cover it, but have no idea what that s called to find a solution.
