I read an article the other day which described a rap segment of a song as "LTE rap" but did not explain what that is. I tried Googling the term but the only results were the article I read, and things about LTE cell phones.

What is LTE rap?

I've recently begun studying Mandarin Chinese and Korean.

Now obviously there are many sounds in each language that are not in English, but I'm curious about similarities between sounds in these two languages.

One sound (two sounds?) in particular has caught my attention. They both seem to be similar in some ways to English "s" but with the tip of the tongue touching the bottom teeth. So here is my question: are the sounds represented by "x" in pinyin and by ㅅ in hangeul the same sound?

I've recently begun studying the Korean language on my own. Although I have learned how to introduce myself, I'm not sure how to write or pronounce my own name within the pronunciation of the Korean language.

My name is Laura.

In Japanese I write my name as ローラ.

For Korean, I've tried writing it as 로러. Would that be appropriate, or is there a better way to write it?

I just sorted through my foreign coin collection, and came across a coin from Saudi Arabia that I was given. Unfortunately I know no Arabic, so although I have been able to puzzle out that it is a 10-halala piece, I can't be sure of the year written on it.

After Googling Arabic numbers, I think that it might be 1400 on the Arabic calendar, so maybe about 1980AD? I have no confidence in this though.
