  • Why is there a squeal under the hood?

    I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am with roughly 85000 miles. When I start my car, there is a medium to loud squeal from under the hood. I have had a new alternator put in, a new idler pulley put on, a new belt put on and various adjustments done but it still seems to come back. I've forked an arm and a leg to get it fixed but nothing seems to help. Any ideas on what might be the problem? Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks.
