I'm a US resident residing in Utah. I'll be attending school in Oregon for 8 months. Is there any way I can work on my residency while attending school?

I wanted to do some traveling this summer and it would be amazing if I could get some basic websites like these to work offline. Can you cache these websites or is there some sort of equivalent program you can buy for directions?

Also, should I have upgraded the video card for 90 dollars?

I'm getting a custom built laptop, but I'm wondering if it is worth the money to upgrade from the first processor to the second. Will it significantly help my performance? What are the benefits?

I tentatively have narrowed it down to two, the HP Pavillion dv6707us and the HP Compaq 6515b. I think the Pavillion has better specs, but is it worth it if I have to get Vista?

Not huge into gaming, but I like to run freeware for my firewall, anti-virus, etc. instead of over-priced corporate software. I'm worried about the performance issues, and the general negativity that is widespread about vista.

I go to www.whatismyipaddress.com and it gives me a different ip address than my command prompt when I enter "ipconfig". I don't get why it is doing that. If I'm opening ports of utorrent should I use the former or latter? So confused.
