Ok my hyundai excel is overheating, water boiling etc.. its a 98 hyundai excel, manual, 160,000km.

It was overheating 2 weeks ago so i replaced the thermostat and it fixed the problem, when it was overheating then, it would cool itself down at high speeds.

Now its overheating again, this time overheating within 5 minutes of driving and having cold morning air blow in at high speeds its not cooling the engine down, i removed the thermostat completely, flushed and refilled the radiator and no fix.

The waterpump is not weeping and no noise from it and the belt pulley etc all seems perfectly fine.

When its hot the top hose is hot and the bottom hose is completely cold, and no signs of water in the oil or a head gasket problem.

1 of the 2 fans on the radiator doesn't come on but i used a friends fan and that didn't fix the heating problem when 2 fans were running on.

So what could be the cause?? should i replace the radiator or the water pump or both?? I'm slightly mechanically good, but nowhere near having the knowledge of a mechanic.

My girlfriend was highly intoxicated last weekend in a major city.

The news showed on tv about their new recovery ward to take people there to recover.

The news crew filmed her, stated her age, and saying that she is the first of many drunk and disorderly people that go through the place on weekend nights in the city.

I know you don't need consent to be filmed and aired on a news program.

My question is because she wasn't just an innocent background person, she was a highlight of the show and said to be highly intoxicated, does she have any right to discrimination because she is worried of people and family she may know to treat her different, her grandparents are highly religious, and yes she was in the wrong to get so drunk.

So would the news need her consent considering that they talked about her individually??

Ok so my girlfriend was born with the name Smith, but her mothers last name is Brown, her parents split up when she was born.

Her birth certificate shows her name as Smith, but she was enrolled into her school under her mums last name which is Brown.

She needs to get a copy of her school certificate but she has no proof that she was Miss Brown in her school.

How should she go about obtaining her school certificate??

Hey, well l work for a removalist/overseas shipping company in South-East Queensland, and my pay rate is $20, however when i hit overtime and go to my time and a half pay rate it only jumps to $24.50, and my double time pay rate is $29.

I was fine with this at first, but after working for this employee for 6 months and no chance with going to full time because of occasional short hours, i want to find out if this is legal.

I asked my boss originally when i first noticed it and he said that is the casual overtime pay rate. Although in previous casual positions time and a half and double time mean exactly what they say.

Also nowhere in my employment contract does it say anything about overtime pay let alone is being so low.

So is it in my best interests to act upon this?

Or is my boss in the right and there's some loophole i've never heard about?

Ok, so we all know the Winfield Cup days and all that came before it are long gone. Yep, if you've been sleeping for a long time then switch on the league to see no-one is wearing tape around their heads anymore, your not delusional.

But out of all the things the majority of us would like to see again/or bring into the game.

Eg: Like calling the hooker the dummy half unless they make the scrums a contest and take the joke out of it, or accidental light head contact during a tackle not being called a penalty... just a couple of idea's i think the majority of fans would like to see changed.

So to the question now :).. if you could re-write a rule or change 1 thing out of the many things in the game, What would it be?

For a second question, if you have an idea for a new on field rule, what is it?

Most of the sites ask for email address's.

Although quality is near 70% l trust and support it.

The higher the players profile, be it the face of rugby league in this instance, has different outcomes to lesser known players. If it was someone virtually unknown the repercussions would be severe, my guess would be that the nrl news report would be saying "Player sacked, Nrl toughening down on off-field behaviour".

But hey, no supporter of rugby league would ever wish for Benji (among other highly skiller nrl players) to be sacked.

Lol Its like deja vu with league, every year the week before a season i'm always making a comment along the lines of 'forget this weeks nrl scandal, you'll forget it next week when someone urinates on something, bring on the NRL!'

Hey, well basically i have a desktop and a laptop working fine together with my internet.

This is how its connected...(hope my diagram is ok :))

Wall Socket--->Cable Modem--->Wireless Router--->Desktop (all wires, no wireless)

And my Laptop connects wireless to the Router.

Laptop = HP Pavilion dv6

Desktop = Dell Optiplex gx520

Modem = Motorola Surfboard

Router = Netgear Wireless-G Router WGR614 v9

**The network was initially connected to a previous computer that died then l replaced it with the dell desktop, plugged in the router, and the internet connection worked automatically.

**The reason why im here is that there is no security at all and l have no information about the network connection anymore.

I have tried to connect to the 192.168.1.1 and entering admin/admin but it seems to be the wrong password.

How do i go about making the whole WEP key thing/passwords so people cant easily connect to my wireless connection?

Hey ok, i have a 93 diahatsu applause where the brakes have been weak and hitting the floor more often then not.

And when im stopped facing uphill the brakes always go hard to the floor.

Ok so i was looking at the booster today and checked the hose for a leak... the hose goes from the booster to the exhaust manifold, and the hose itself has a one way air valve where the exhaust manifold was sucking air from the booster..

So i reversed the hose so the only thing air could do was blow from the manifold into the booster, from doing that the brake pedal was very very hard, although the brakes worked to full strength with no sign of hitting the floor.

Im curious which way is the air flow supposed to go between the brake booster and exhaust manifold??

And yes i have bled my brakes a few times now :)

So i was on a website and saw a Big League poll.. the poll question read:

"Should 3 points be awarded for a win, 2 for a golden-point win and 1 for the loser in a golden-point match?"

Straight away without hesitation i voted "NO"... the 2 for a win and 0 for a loss (80minutes or golden-point) is the way it should always be... then i was thinking well spliting the points in a gold-point match would be nice for the losing side, to gain something out of a draw at fulltime... then i thought again for a moment and once again said "NO" lol.. the system works for me :)

Whats your opinion and decision on this big league poll?

oh and if this was the case, and what scoring would you give for the teams that end up a draw after golden-point??

i'd say 2 points each would be the fairest.

Hey im emptying out my engine oil and putting some new fresh stuff into it.. im just wondering is there anything that you can put through to flush out the excess oil that doesnt leave the sump plug?
