I would prefer a classic/traditional/timeless name. I also want the name to have only one spelling and pronunciation. I don't want anything too common but nothing too weird either.

I just recently came to terms with the fact that I am a lesbian. The signs were all there but I overlooked them. I really want to come out especially to my family. The things is my mom is a lesbian as well. I am terrified to tell her though. Well, actually I am terrified to tell anyone although I have been attending LGBTQ meetings at my college.

So my question is, Did you feel better after you cam out? did you feel like you could finally be yourself?

I feel like I am really holding myself back by being in the closet. I don't have any friends and I am really shy. I am not sure if it is because I have been trying to hide this or what.

I know once I come out there will be a whole new set of issues but will I feel me comfortable with myself and being myself? Will I feel like me? How did you feel?

Any and all advice or suggestions would be great! I really need some help right now.

Right now I am in college. This is my first year and classes started two days ago. Right now I'm thinking I made the wrong choice coming here. I wish I would have gone to community college for a couple semester first. I just feel like I'm not ready. I felt like I wasn't ready long before I moved here so I'm pretty sure I'm just not homesick. I just don't feel like I'm emotionally ready to be away from home yet. I am thinking about dropping out of college here going to community college for a semester or two. Then I will either transfer back here or to another university which is closer to my home. What do you think I should do? Also, does anybody know what will happen if I drop out of college when most of it was paid for by financial aid? I can still drop or add classes and be refunded, but does that work for financial aid or just if you pay yourself? I am going to my financial aid counselor tomorrow to make sure but I just wanted to see what you thought?

Well, I just moved into my college dorm two days ago. I'm not really happy being here. I am very home sick and lonely. My roommate is nice but has her own thing going on and I don't want to follow her around like a puppy. I am very shy and reserved so making friends is hard. I'm just not sure if I made the right decision to come to college. I having second thought and have been even before I moved. I was kinda pressured by my family to come. I wanted to go to commuity college for a year or two just to grow up a little first. I feel like I made a huge mistake and i'm so sad and depressed. What should I do? Is this normal? I also don't have a major and financial aide paid for everything so my dad won't be too made about that. How can I tell if this situation isn't right for me or if i'm just homesick? Thanks, sorry it's so long, I just need some advice. Oh yeah, classes haven't even started yet ;(.
