  • is there much demand for freelance administrators?

I am a qualified administrator with years of customer service, administrative and secretarial experience. I am considering setting up my own business but am I not sure whether there is much demand for freelance administrators? I am not sure where I can find out. Don't want the business to be a non-starter.

    Some of the services that I would offer are;

Audio typting, copywriting, text processing, word processing, data entry, managing calls, emails, sending letters, medical typing, legal typing and Sage.

Using Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office Programs.

    Other Tasks considered.

Any advice would be appreciated. I have never set up my own business before. Thank you in advance.

  • advice from breast to bottle feeding?

    Hi all,

I am having issues trying to change over from breast to formula.

Alexis has just turned 6 months old. From the very beggining she has been mainly breastfeed but has been given bottles (breastmilk and formula) to try and avoid this situation we find ourselves in. She also has 3 solid meals a day and has done for over a month aswell as being offered water throughout the day.

I have tried easing her onto more formula and less breast and have also tried to totally cut out breastfeeding but each time i offer her a bottle she will not take more than 1oz each feed regardless of whether it is breastmilk or formula. I am concerned that she is not getting enough milk and then go back to feeding from the breast.

Any advice would be much appreciated!!

  • stop a baby co-sleeping and breast feeding?

First off all I am aware everyone has diffferant opinions and I am looking for advice for getting to where I want us to be and not looking for judgements on what has worked until now.

From The moment my LO was born she suffered from colic and did so until 2 weeks ago (now 10 weeks old) she would not sleep in her crib at all and after 3 days of n sleep i tried her in bed with me and wa-hay SLEEP. Hence our habit was born.

She would sleep for 3 hours at a time and then feed and go straight back to sleep but this last week she has been waking every 30 minutes. Because I am breastfeeding she now just wants to be with me and crys when she goes to anyone else. In the day (or night) she will only sleep on my sholder, if i try and put her down she wakes up no matter how long i leave it.

She also keeps having constipation for a few days at a time (another reason im want to move onto bottle incase its something im eating).

Ideally I would like her to sleep in her own crib for a few hours at a time, go to sleep at 7ish ratther than 12am as at present and change onto bottles ......Now how to get there???

  • 32 weeks pregnant and partner had a baby 2 days ago, opinions?

    I'll start from the beginning...

I met my partner in May last year and feel pregnant in June, we are still together and live together with my daughter who is 6 years old. we are having a little girl who is due in March (I know he had his heart set on a boy, due to having a little girl with his ex)

I had a text (was meant for him) from his ex who he broke up with 4 months before we met (i know her from school) yesterday saying his baby boy had been born. I questioned what she meant and who with ... I asked him about it and he admitted to sleeping with her before he met me but had no idea she was even pregnant, she had been on the pill and was also sleeping with someone else at the same time. The girl has not approached him, but is friends with his cousins and they said she is saying it is his.

My head is everywhere. I didnt know what to think, it has turned my world upside down.

He doesn't want anything to do with her or the baby. I wouldn't mind either way but just the fact he may have just had a child 8 weeks before im due ....

I also know he didn't cheat on me its before we met.

Im just looking for opinions, pllleeeaaseee :(

I know it sounds wrong but even the fact she has had a boy not a girl (as that's what he had his heart set on) turns my stomach... I like the fact im having a girl and he is happy as well. I dont understand my own head at the minute.

Everyone in work has noticed today that I am not myself, I just dont know what to do. I havent told anyone so have noone to speak to about it as quite frankly im embarrased by the situation

  • Am i wasting my time?

I met my partner in May and fell pregnant in June, I already have a 6 and a half year old daughter. We were living in a 2 bed council fat that had bad mould and in a terrible area but as he had a steady job I borrowed money from family to pay a deposit on a privately rented property for £600 pm.

Now we have been here for 2 months and he has lost two jobs, basically because he couldnt be bothered going for a few days and got the sack in both jobs.... I approched my old boss and managed to get 2 weeks worth (now in my second week) I am now 25 weeks pregnant. And he hasnt worked for 2 weeks. The rent is due in two weeks and my wages wont cover it (he earned twice as much per hour than me)

I find that I am the one on the net looking for a job for him whilst he is out with his mates....

I feel that I am trying to give my daughter and baby and both of us a good life and I gave up my home to give us a better life and its slipping through my hands.

I dont want to end up in a mother and baby hostal and single.

I try to talk to him but he just doesnt seem bothered and when I say that to him he just says im nagging and that he knows the situation, so why doesnt he do anything about it???

Anly advice would be great :-/

    Thanks
