  • Period due in 2 days?

Well it's that awful time of the month again where my period is due. Me and my partner have been trying for what will be 6 months after this one, it's the first month where I haven't convinced myself I'm pregnant or bought a pregnancy test, losing hope fast. I'm having no pregnancy symptoms so pretty certain I'm not, but still there's always that little glimmer Of hope before the disappointment :( I have two children from a previous relationship who are 5 and 6 now - my question is after 6 months do you think we have anything to worry about? Sorry to be crude but we do what it takes to make a baby at least once a day, I'm 25 years old and he is 33, does anyone have any tips or suggestions etc herbal remedies to help boost out chances? Thank you

  • Under what circumstances in court would a father be denied access to his children?

Under what circumstances would a father be denied access to his children? More specifically, would a criminal history for violence count, resulting in a few months in prison, or being sectioned under the mental health act? Or the mother stating that he was abuse both physically and mentally to her?

  • Make up help/advice for pale blonde, green eyes?

    Hi there,

I'm 24 and have blonde hair, very fair skin, and green eyes. I have always wore matte mousse foundation, pink blush, and black eyeliner and mascara. I have recently become a little obsessed with make up as I am a bridesmaid in a few weeks, and think my usual black eyeliner/mascara is going to look far to heavy with my dress etc - and also in general everyday wear I think black is just too dark for me, however I have lovely long eyelashes when I wear mascara and love defining my eyes. Any advice?

I'm interested in what make up everyone else uses on a daily basis, and how it differs from the make up you would wear on a night out? Routines please!

    Thank you xx

  • I didn't realise I had fine lines UNTIL I wore concealer?!?!?

    Hi there,

I mean what the hell?? I've never used concealer before and bought some the other day as I've read/heard what a magical product it is.... And to apply it under and around the eyes etc. well I applied it this morning and I was very happy with the results, then applied my usual foundation - dream matte mousse. Later in the day I looked in the mirror an was horrified to see wrinkles underneath my eyes!! I mean I'm 24 and never noticed them before. Been freaking out all day, only to find this evening after removing my make up - they have vanished. On close examination I can see literally the tiniest fine line underneath one of my eyes but you wouldn't notice. How come when I applied concealer they looked like fully blown wrinkles?? I thought that stuff was supposed to cover things up. Confused? Do I stay away from concealer or am I using it wrong? Thanks

  • Single mother - very mature 5 year old son asking how babies are made?

    Hi there,

I am a single mother to 2 children, and my eldest child, my son, has always been very advanced for his age and has always asked a million questions per day He has an amazing brain, is one of the cleverest in his class, and has an incredible aptitude for learning! I would say his behaviour, mindset and maturity is more the age of a 7 year old - which is why I don't know how to answer his question. He is very literal and needs things to be explained clearly, he has asked me how babies get into a mothers tummy... I basically told him that mummies have eggs and daddies have an ingredient and together they begin to make a baby - I know how lame that sounds but this was very out of the blue! He then asked more questions as my answer was obviously not enough. What on earth do I say? My 4 year old daughter was listening but didnt seem particularly interested Thank you

  • single mum of 2 - is there any point in going after lovely 27 yr old man?

I understand how badly it may sound, I am 24 with 2 children of 4 and 5 and my life revolves around them, they both have the same father of course, unfortunately I truly cannot stay with their father, despite trying very hard, he has a lot of issues that I can no longer deal with without hurting my kids or myself. I however am very tearful and hve been alone for a long time, no support financially, emotionally or otherwise, there is a man, who for some reason has caught my eye, but he is only 27 and has no children. Is this a silly crush or should I act upon it?

Hi there, I know it sounds a silly question but my children are 3 and 4 and my 4 year old is starting school in September but he can't use a knife! I still chop their food up because every time I give them a knife they seem very awkward with it and end up just making a huge mess... thanks x

  • I want to fit in for my son's sake?

I have been fortunate enough to send my eldest child to a wonderful school this september, however, being a church of England school it is rather small, and the parents seem to already have children attending the school so they all know eachother. Anyway, I've had quite a frosty reception from them, what can I do? I am 23, so a little younger than them but I have 2 children.
